I was a social criminology minor. Those classes are no fuging joke. Harder than some of my 4000 level history classes both in written and discussion formats.

why would he drive all that way? Why not just fly? That's a lot of time he could save.

it's only 5.5 hours. you spend that much time getting to airport, checking in, getting searched, waiting to board, deal with delays, waiting to take off, flying, landing, finding luggage, leaving airport....and most of that for himgoing on while having to deal with people who want to talk to you, take your picture, watch you take a piss in the bathroom, and try to get your autograph.

i don't blame him. airports are a hassle. i hate them. they were fun for me for a while but it's easy to get burned out on them. when it's a short flight it makes a lot more sense to just drive, imo.

that does make more sense in some ways. And even with his salary a private plane could feel like an expense. But the way the article reads it sounds like he was making round trips a few times a week which just sounds awful. Even in a big cushy automobile.

when i was in my 20s i travelled a lot like that. i loved it, tbh. maybe not a few times a week, but once or twice for weeks at a time....and that's not including the amount of traveling i did with different bands i was in.

i've had to do a lot of that kind of thing for sales jobs i used to have as well. at his age it's really not that big of a deal to drive that much and with the amount of attention he gets everywhere he probably enjoyed the peace and down time.

I have my pilots license. I would have flown him for free.

I'm not worried about Cam losing a few pounds. He was nearly 260 last season. Perhaps Cam was referring to muscle mass? He's a ripped dude.

It'll probably be beneficial in the long run. Cam ran a 4.5 at 250. So imagine him running around a tad lighter.

Yup and I can personally attest that flying is even more of a drag when you are 6'6" and you have to jam your kneecap between the two seats infront of you and then pray to god the person sitting infront of you doesn't decide to use their arm rest.

First class you say? I doubt there are any flights with first class service that fly between CLT and Auburn, most likely regional jets where the seats are packed in even tighter.

Hah...I'm that height as well and flying coach is miserable.  Knees jammed into the back of the seat.  The jackass in front of you decides to recline.  My shoulder is hanging over in the isle so everyone who passes bumps in to me and/or rubs their ass or crotch on my shoulder.  Can't lower the tray to put my drink on it because my knees are too high.

Everything else about being tall is awesome, though!

he also talked about losing weight last year in the offseason. more then likely loses it now so he gains muscle in offseason conditioning.

when i was in college i went with a group of students to venezuala and one of my buddies was 6'8 350 pounds. he was absolutely miserable in each flight. the only place he could go where he fit in a couple planes was sitting on the floor at the back of the plane in the aisle.

it's those moments that i am glad to be under 6'.
