Since I know nothing about the personal life of Aaron Hernandez, I am curious what makes him a thug, since I assume there is more to this than the fact he is being investigated for a crime.

Still feel the same way?

...I still haven't looked into his personal life at all, so yes, I still feel the same way.  As far as I can tell, he hasn't been convicted of anything yet and I haven't taken the time to look into what his past was like because frankly it doesn't influence me.  Since you brought his name up, I asked what he did, because I hadn't heard much about him in a negative light here in Mass until this.  But I also don't really follow main stream news much.

edit: I also don't see the need to find terms to define people with all the time... if I don't know them, don't interact with them, I don't have some driving need to classify them so I have no clue if he is a thug or not.  You have made up your mind and for all I know you're right. You seem to think I was defending him, when I really just know nothing about him and don't care to jump to a conclusion on someone I know nothing about.

Him being locked up doesn't actually influence me at all, so I probably won't.  Whether or not he is a thug is really meaningless to me, I don't really like using that word personally but whatever you want to do.  It's not that I'm never judgmental, I can be, I just don't know enough about most people to say what is going on their lives.  I don't care if you do, or what you think about it, or about dreadlocks, but I think sometimes overuse of a word and judging someone so harshly before they have been even charged and stuff is just kind of silly.  Of course, maybe on his way to the NFL he murdered fifteen people or something, fug if I know, so maybe you're totally justified in thinking he's a criminal or w/e

question: Am I a bad person if I place judgements on people by their actions?

I will judge people on stairs vs elevator. What should I call myself, a Stepist?

Everyday in my park deck @work, I see very healthy people take the elevator instead of walking down 2-4 flights of stairs which lead to the walkway to the lobby. And I honestly think everytime, what the fug is wrong with you people. You're gonna walk 100 yards from the parking deck to the lobby, some up or down steps won't kill you.

Asians, Indians hardly ever take the elevator, but young women (white, black, Latina) will all the time.

You want to try walking a few flights in high heels?

Take it from me, it's no picnic.
