Am I the only one that wants us to be a conservative ground and pound offense?

I don't mind Cam running.  I just don't like the plays where he is having to pick up the first down.  Cam should run all he wants as long as he is not taking punishment doing it.

Actually, that play they run in short yardage is almost impossible to stop. (Not quite read option, not quite true option) I don't want that play taken out. But, I do agree that his carries need to be limited. Not done away with by any stretch. Just limit the extra hits those extra runs bring.

People try that ground and pound poo to mask the weakness of the O-line or QB. It looks like our O-line thrives on Cam bailing them out. I don't think they can handle any grounding and pounding. We're more fitted for a short passing offense.

I haven't read through the whole thread, so I may be repeating.

I don't mind a "conservative" offense, but I don't want one that's predictable and stagnant like what we did under Fox. If you line up to run and they have 9 in the box...check out of it.

That would be a traditional WCO and that's not what we're "fitted" for.
