Barnes does not impact the game like MKG can in terms of defense, bball IQ even passing.

Sure his jumper is better but his off dribble drive is still stiff and unnatural.

Barnes should be a better scorer than MKG and this was expected in the draft.

Barnes ceiling is a Sean Elliot type guy. MKG ceiling is Scottie Pippen(who could not shoot till season 3) impacts.

In the regular season Barnes was lost in the offense and a lesser scorer. Sure he had a decent playoffs but that is what his supporters are basing the comparison on.

Wrong Again!

MKG has more freedom as he is playing with lesser talent, he can get more shots on this team. If we had Barnes on our team last year he would probably be our leading scorer.

Nostrodumass... He predicts the future with exclaimation points. !

I was watching the USA blue/white scrimmage and HB and MKG had about the same impact on the game, and they both got their points in a similar fashion... I think what has and will separate them is their shooting.

I admit, I wasn't high on Barnes coming out because he didn't really show the ability to create off the dribble in college, and i wanted him to do well becauee I went to school with him. After one year, I'm leaning towards saying that I wish we would've picked HB, but if MKG develops a competent shot, I think it will be a wash.

I agree with everything you said, except on it being a wash if MKG puts it all together.

Let's say MKG do put it all together in the future, at best he's a better Gerald Wallace or best case scenario Andre Igoudala while Barnes is closer to a Paul Pierce. I'm a huge fan of MKG even when he was at UK, but with what I've seen from both of their careers throughout college till now I believe that Barnes will have a better NBA career and be a better player.

MKG if developed a jumper would be a better overall player than Barnes. But, that doesnt mean he will be the better player. It's like saying Paul George is the better player over Carmelo Anthony.

Barnes ceiling is Paul Pierce. MKG is Iggy, my god not Pippen. Before the draft he was gaining some comparison to Pippen, but after seeing him first hand in the pro level as a Cats fan, Im not dumb enough to put him on the same level as Pippen ever again.

You were also the one that thought Noel was the same type player at Anthony Davis.

WOW, you popped out of no where like the rain on a normal North Carolina day.

But, like I said I care more about on court performance than what the stats says. Stats doesnt always tell everything behind something. It's sort of like we are led to believe that you are a mature 36 years old "man", but really in reality you're more like a 20 years old Senior in HS.

Barnes is Paul Pierce?! Wow.. We will have to disagree on that.

Barnes is closer to young Richard Jefferson... Except without the cross dressing.
