Here he is against the Ravens starting nose tackle, dude weighs 340. Chris moves him to the outside and handles him pretty easily.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this guy. Hoping for the best on Sunday, like usual.

Looks like he is blocking his man and Bell's man, after getting Bell out of the way

What I liked about Scott was his ability to re-anchor when pass blocking. He would get pushed back, keep his feet moving and then re-anchor, several times on passing plays giving up relatively little pressure.

If this is the case, sounds like a starting RG. Here's hoping.

Could you pull some screens of him getting beat or getting out of position?

Here he is having his way with a Pittsburgh second stringer on the first play of the game...knocked him back 4 yards and pancaked him

You sure that's a second stringer?

I saw Scott knock Ziggy Hood to the ground early in the game.  Granted it might not be the same play.

Chris has looked good. Now let's see how he does vs Brandon Mebane and Red Bryant.

Honestly I didn't watch him too closely in pre season. But form what I'm hearing from you guys it sounds like he is playing pretty well and just might be capable of starting. If this is the case them this is great news.

And I see zod is excited. I've seen alot of threads from ya. Clearly your excited like a little school girl just like the rest of us. Makes me happy too see a select few of y'all being so cheerful. So ready for Sunday

Anyone have a subscription to PFF that could give his rating during the preseason?

It would be interesting to see what they thought but I like that Zod went back and looked, they've been talking him up and it looks like he will have a big role on Sunday.

I was watching Scott during he Ravens game and I was impressed.

Rivera said just this past week that he was "a find" for them, could be a Dwan Edwards for the o-line.

Scott gets time in with the first string, and as a complete skeptic, I gotta say he looks pretty good.

Not once was he beat by his man, and this was against the first string Baltimore defense in the third preseason game.

His strength definitely looks like the running game. On screens he is pretty slow to get to the outside, not so great there.

Watching him play against Pittsburgh second stringers and it becomes pretty clear he may be a starter in this league.

I am cautiously optimistic.

Im optimistic as well, I forgot who but someone posted on here yesterday he was one of the top rated guards in pre season. Im sorry but im still not sold on Amini at all, the more time he is off the field, the better and as ive said before, im taking a out of shape Wharton over Amini any Sunday.
