Bringing Barner and Stewart into the mix

Read J.Jones tweet....says Stew is still far away from seeing the field so what him and Person are saying don't mesh.We need to carry on like he won't be game ready this season. He may be one tweak away from
calling 2013 a wash.

I'm ready for Barner and Stewart to get back b/c it will give us more depth and versatility in the backfield.  Right now I feel at times we are trying to pace DWill so that he can be fresh in the 4th.  With KB and JS, it allows us to have a fresh back in there at all times, not to mention all of them being home run threats.

I think the best is yet to come for this team.

I've always wondered why they didn't split halves instead of carries. Have Stew pound them in the first half and have D-lo come in fresh for the second half. It would allow them to get into their rhythm and wear defenses out. Add Barner for change ups and Tolbert for short yardage/fullback/short passes etc..

That contract alone is going to scare away many possible candidates.

When you pair that with his injury problems, we're pretty much stuck with him. Unless we just release him.

KB returned to practice last week. Stewart is eligible to come off of PUP in two weeks and looks "strong" according to a Joe Person tweet from today.

And in a soon-to-be-released Person tweet, he will announce that Stewart will go on IR.  I hope I'm wrong here, but I doubt it.  We heard how good he looked offseason just before we found out he was in pain just walking.  Love JStew, but I'm not convinced we'll see him in uniform this year. At all.

Barner is one of these guy's replacements. Either Stew or D Will are gone after this year.

Just once this season I'd like to see a formation with Cam, Tolbert, DeAngelo, Stewart, Barner and Armond Smith all in the backfield at the same time. It would be insane.

Yea but it will be a penalty because Armond will run out of bounds

If Stewart can stay healthy, Stew and Barner would be a sick combo. But he can't stay healthy and never will stay healthy. Get rid of both the high priced dudes and build a solid line so we can just use a 3rd rounder on a replacement.

Barner is not high priced, unless you are talking about williams?

Haha, although all of the refs have been fugging up that call this year. Those dumbasses apparently don't know that the league dropped the "immediate" part of returning to the field.
