Would we work out a long term deal for him?  obviously, we would want to if we are giving up multiple picks for him

Tell Gross this is his last season?  Move Gross or Monroe to LT?

Not discounting, just trying to work through the details.

Monroe would've been a good fit for San Diego as well. I think it's a good move for Jacksonville since Monroe was probably going to leave in the offseason with Joeckel being the heir apparent at LT, but I wonder if the compensation could've been a little better.

Monroe may not be the only LT moving to the AFCN, as PIT is in talks with ARI about Levi Brown, which is more like replacing a deck chair on the Titanic.

We could have made this move, especially considering how bad we've been drafting in the later rounds. Ravens will probably work out a long term since Mckinnie might not be back.

There were a report that said Gross was considering retirement after the season. Monroe would have been a huge upgrade at LT. I dont see Monroe getting anything more than what Jake Long got this past off season.
