At least 3 teams have contacted Browns about deal for WR Josh Gordon; two have standing offers of a high pick and a player. Browns balking.

People really want him don't they

Hmmmmm

I seriously doubt we are in this if its a high pick and a player. Also, what is considered high? Is it a 3rd? A 2nd?

Isn't he like one strike away from missing an entire season?

He's highly talented. If he gets in trouble one more time he's basically worthless. Probably drives his price down some. I don't think we will make a play for him. Indy, they might.

or the browns have gotten a bunch of low offers and are demanding higher offers and leaking fake news.

God, if Indy, New England, San Francisco or Seattle gets him, I'll be super pissed.

Why be pissed. You know how we do business around here. Gettleman hasn't changed anything. We just picked up two projects at WR, so you already know---deep down in your heart---the deal.  Yeah, I'll be disappointed, but it is what is is.

I will say this, though: Some people here don't know how good this guy can really be. He has "BEAST" written all over him.

This. Your dumb if you don't want him. Idgaf if he smokes weed it's damn near legal. Actually it is in a few states. He's a stud that will go to a contender and help them reach the Super Bowl while Panther fans sit back and say he's one strike away from missing a year. You can have 2 strikes in the bottom of the 9th you knock that motherfucker out the park game over.

New England might still think they can get by with Amendola and Gronkowski (assuming they can keep them healthy for two games in a row).

Indy makes some sense given that Wayne was old anyway even before he was hurt. He could be good with Luck if he refrains from being a moron (which is a colossal gamble).

I would give up a 3 for him. Isnt that what we gave up for olsen(no jab at him) Frank alexander and nameless other busts. Pull the trigger. A proven commodity tho troubled is one of those risk vs reward deals. Sometimes it works out like the rams and jenkins, othertimes its pacman.
