@Panthers

  • OL Jeff Byers had Lisfranc surgery on his left foot today
  • RG Chris Scott is now day-to-day with a knee sprain
  • Dockery is out 2-4 weeks with a shoulder injury

Bummer about Byers. Lisfranc is season ending.

edit: Dockery

I wouldn't mind it... I was surprised we cut him when we did with all his experience with the team.. No one has picked him up yet??

Doesn't look like it.  Byers is the backup center.  If Kalil goes down, I'm not sure who would back him up.  That's why I expect Hangartner back.  Who else could they get that knows the playbook this late in the season?

Hangartner isn't coming back. We will use Folkerts as the backup center like earlier in the season. Wouldn't be surprised to see us promote Jasper from the practice squad, and sign a center to the practice squad.

In our 4 game mudstomping streak.....he has played 17 snaps.

Big injuries is having a DT play G and no backups for any spots on the line.

Josh Thomas isn't bad as a subpackage guy. We could do worse at dime back. Munnerlyn, White and Florence will still be the first 3 on the field. Wouldn't be surprised to see Norman get a chance to redeem himself (not as a starter of course).

Na, I think JT will get some PT now. He's great in run defense though.
