Notice Cam is a bust after dropped TDs, first downs, and big gains aid in a loss to Arizona, while the league's 21st rated passer is "Hall of Fame discussion" after being lambasted by 29 in the same venue. LMAO, can't make this up.

Hardly an ESPN article.  It's written by a host for an ESPN radio affiliate in Minneapolis.  His opinion on the national football scene is worth even less than the guys in Bristol.

Well, he didn't call Cam a bust, so you're wrong on that part. But lol at Luck.

I swear, he could get voted into the hall today based on absolutely nothing. Why writers stick to that story line is totally beyond me. He's a decent QB so far. No more, no less.

He does not have Cam as a bust, he has him as "serviceable to very good", which is on a three scale system:

HOF-potential

Servicable-to-very-good

Bust

The only odd reach in his article is Luck being "HOF-potential".  Der.

what article are you reading?

the one in the link says newton will be serviceable to very good. nowhere does it say bust.  I don't even see the word arizona anywhere in the article.

it may be premature to call luck a hofer, but the article isn't as negative as you're trying to make it out to be.

I understand he didn't call Cam a bust, but some people did after the Cardinals game. Boy wonder is even less impressive and some people are talking bust-in Canton.

And by the way, 2010 was so worth it-seriously the price you have to pay. 34% of Super Bowl winners are former #1 overall picks at QB-none I would trade for Cam. Thanks for 2010 JR-seriously!!!

I can't remember a QB ever handed greatness on a platter like the media has done with Luck.

Narratives are hard to break due to egos in the media. Just see Luck and Cam.

The people in Canton are calling Luck a bust?

Not sure why people here still act like it's something new that individuals in the media think Luck can walk on water.

I'm frankly beyond sick of reading about him here. Once again, I suggest a filter for his name, so we no longer have to see it.
