To be more specific, power run game is a huge factor if the field is very wet. Scat backs typically are less productive.

Weather.com and accuwather.com show .2 inches. Totally drenching

AccuWeather is about as accurate as me going outside and sticking my finger in the air...

Yep. The wind is being overlooked here. Hard to throw the ball in the kind of wind we will see during the game (~18 mph)

Defense has to play disciplined. The Saints are likely to focus on screens and the TE even more given the weather. Have to keep Sproles in front of them. He knows where he wants to go and the defense will be trying to react. On a wet field, the offensive runner often has the advantage.
