Cutler got a 7 year deal, no finanical terms released. Also they re-signed CB Tim Jennings and G Matt Slauson to 4 year deals.

I was looking more at CB Tim Jennings as a possible Panther... had a great year headed towards free agency.

It was widely speculated Cutler would catch the franchise tag, so I'd be willing to bet his contract is pretty close to what the tag would have cost the Bears. ($15M?)

I'll guess it's 7 years, $115M.

Lord almighty, seven more years of Cutler.

What in the name of Johnny Unitas are they thinking over there?

Did somebody in the Bears front office break a mirror?

I'm not worried about their sake.  I'm worried about ours.

We've got our own QB negotiations to come.  I'd hate to see how big money for a guy like Cutler affects us.

Foxsports.com's Alex Marvez reports the first three years of Cutler's deal average $18 million per season.

Lol, i'm glad they did it...

For one, it's one less team we're competing with for a playoff spot for the next seven years.

And two, it's less money the Bears can use to tamper and lure our impending free agents away with, like they've always done.

120 million for Tony Romo...

120 million for Joe Flacco...

54 million in three years to Jay Cutler; full deal will probably turn out to be over a hundred there too...

Imagine if these guys were actually really good :(

chicago had their best offensive team by far this year, i guess they didnt realize it had less to do with Cutler and more to do with Forte, Marshall and Jeffrey
