Of Steve Smith, Teddy Ginn and Brandon Lafell

Big as he is, LaFell should be a physical receiver.  But he isn't.  If anything, he's a finesse receiver.

the only guy who plays like a physical receiver is the smallest one of the bunch.  We need to get a true gorilla this offseason.

That's what has been so weird in the latter part of the year.  I'd love to find one of these small school guys with a questionable past who'se big, maybe not a burner, but who can out muscle DBs for balls and press coverage...

Or was that supposed to be Hixon?

I liked Lafell's game, until the last half of the season.

As a player you have to be able to step up when your name is called, especially in a contract year.

The spotlight seemed to bright for him when Smitty got dinged up.

yea same here, i thought he was typically solid but he certainly disappeared those last 6 or so weeks it seems

You guys are stupid. Cam said at then end of the presser that LaFail became a full time "blocking TE". ;)

Ginn was playing hard for us this year.  Bring him back.

We need to add a good receiver in the draft, as well as bulking up our OL.

Even when Cam had time, Lafell was unable to get open, ffs.

I saw that on ESPN. Then he stormed off the podium and slapped a baby

Punched, not slapped.  Kicked a puppy too.

59 of that came on one garbage time reception looong after the game was over. I'm all for bringing Ginn back, but they should absolutely sign another young veteran to complement what they have in house. Ginn is a great deep threat in 3/4 WR sets and a special teams weapon, but he's not an every-down receiver.

And your not an everyday poster. Ginn alone set us up for the TD we did score so I wouldn't be complaining too much. It's not garbage time till the clock strikes zero. To think New Orleans would've had a shot at Seattle until the last drive was crazy. If not for one boneheaded coaching decision they could've won it.

We need Ginn to score on his "garbage" reception and get an inside kick. After that, who knows what could happen.

Ginn is dangerous, he would have scored on that long pass had it not been for the DB holding him back. He had a great game.

I think we can keep him for sure. Not as a number 2 out every down.
