2-0 Without Waker

39 posts in this topic

Went back and watched Melo carve up the Bobcats and I broke down his scoring. The Knicks used screens really well against the Bobcats in this game.

MKG's defense was pretty good for the most part, I mean Melo had 9 points off of tipped rebounds and another 4 easy points against Sessions. 3 more on the half court shot.  The Knicks screened the hell out of MKG when he was guarding him. However, I counted at least 6 shots that MKG played perfect defense on and the shots still went down.

10 points at the line, 25 against MKG, 23 against Tolliver and McBob, 4 points on sessions.

Well now we are (2-2) without him and Sessions can't make a layup all of a sudden.

Thread got all quiet from those who originally thought it was a good idea to get rid of Kemba or that he wasn't important. Against the Knicks Melo was just out of his mind. Against the Bulls, I think we probably would have won that won with Kemba on the court.

Yeah it seems like we can really use Kemba now.

I wonder how Michael Kaybongo is doing???

Take your time and get well Kemba, us getting curbstomped right now is best for business.

There's a decent chance this losing streak will get into double digits.  The only winnable game on the current road trip is against the Lakers and they already beat us at TWC.

Any updates on Kemba?  No need to rush him back from that ankle sprain.

I don't imagine he would be back by the All-Star break (14-16), so I'm guessing he returns shortly after that.

Hopefully we lose every game until he returns then still lose more

All we have to do is lose to Denver tomorrow and we are tied for 8th place and a loss away from 10th place because the Knicks and Pistons won tonight.
