I keep seeing commercials for the honors show, and my question is will Star be there as he should as a finalist for DROY? And, while I would still rather have him than any player in the '13 draft regardless, ANY chance he wins it?

Might be one of the nominees but he won't win.

Probably Kiko Alonso or Tyrann Mathieu wins.  Star had a good season but his stats don't look great on paper.  Cam broke all sorts of records his rookie year and Luke led the league in tackles so therefore they won ROY.  Star was just an awesome role player who did his job on one of the best defenses in the NFL.  They don't give DROY for that but they should.

Sheldon Richardson or Kiko will probably win. Both had gaudy stats.

Richardson wins because of those dumb touchdown runs.

Wins DPOY because of a few OFFENSIVE plays? I don't think so. The smart money is always in the rookie LB with the most tackles. LBs put up better stats than DL and voters love stats. Alonso wins.

Defensive tackles really dont get the stats needed to win DROY.... but it says alot about this guy that he's even being mentioned as a finalist

Star's problem is that his impact wasn't of the statistical variety, boy for himself anyway. Hardy's 15 sacks speak volumes, but that is overlooked.
