131 Main just beat out Casual Water for best shrimp and grits in the fuggin world based on the SCP Sliding Scale of Delish. Just left the 131 in Dilworth and good laws they were delish. Even my Yankee wife loves them.

Is it real shrimp and grits? With gravy? A lot of places just saute' shrimp and plop them on grits.

Coarse stone ground grits are essential.

Oh there's gravy and the grits are coarse. I'd post a pic but I'm on my phone.

Sadly I posted one to twitter

My mom makes the best cheese grits I've ever had. She needs to sell them to a restaurant in CLT.

I like shrimp. I like grits. But shrimp and grits mixed together? That sounds pretty gross.

There's a lot more to it. Shrimp in a spicy gravy and bacon over stone ground grits.

I told you this almost 2 years ago.  Their shrimp n grits and jalapeno cornbread.  Good eats.  Best in Charlotte, but not the best in the world.

The cornbread is definitely what puts it over the top. That is just a little cast iron skillet of deliciousness.

It's taken us 2 years to find another good baby sitter so we finally made it up there and your advice was right on.

We tried the triple dip instead of the cornbread. Mistake.

Best corn bread too. Make sure you pour honey over it.
