I think google was having issues, it was hanging up trying to talk to their servers. OUrs was fine.

It was WCNC's server that was hanging it up. Their site was down for, ironically, 36 hours. We have scripts that load in the head of the page that pull ads from their server, so since it was down, it was causing the site to load very slowly.

I logged on yesterday, but couldn't get on at home or the office this morning either?
