Take your pride out. Cam is not a Top10 QB.

I'd take the opinion of NFL players who voted him as the 6th best qb in the league over yours any day of the week.. And why would you even start discrediting cam just to spite people when discussing wide receivers?

Luck is a lot more like Dan Marino than Peyton Manning.

Luck is a lot more like Alex Smith than either of those guys.

#2808988 Kaepernick gets mega-deal

Posted by Bozarden on 04 June 2014 - 03:18 PM

Looks like this is the thread that's taking off, so I'll put it here too:

Looks like a lot of fluff to me.  6 years/$60M guaranteed is only $10M per year guaranteed.  Not a terrible deal for a young QB with a lot of upside.  He'll never collect anywhere near $126M out of this contract.

Wtf??

60 mil is the most guarenteed money EVER and that is not a lot??? come on man...

im sensing a bad trend with Daves 4th round picks..

#2806598 K Benjamin a giant

Posted by Bozarden on 02 June 2014 - 10:43 AM

If he can master the "box out" and develop some soft hands then he will be every bit as dangerous as Gronk or Graham.

I know that's a big "if" but I'm optimistic about tje kid.

IMO Benjamin had some of the best hands in the draft. He made som ridiculous catches while dropping a lot of easy balls due to him turning his head upfield before securing the ball. This is a bad habit that i am sure Ricky proehl will fix.

The dude has gigantic hands which helps a lot. I think he had the biggest hands of a wr in the draft? 10" 1/4

#2778523 6th Round - Carolina selects RB Tyler Gaffney, Stanford

Posted by Bozarden on 10 May 2014 - 04:19 PM

I am fine with Gettleman choosing not to draft a tackle in this whole draft. Both Richardson and Hurst come with huge injury concerns and i am pretty sure that they were both taken off our board.

Last year our o-line was severely disabled due to guys getting injured and i seriously doubt that Gettleman wants us to spend a draft pick on more o-line men with injury concerns.

I bet you we will be bringing quite a few UDFA tackles in and they will get a chance to compete. We might even trade for Roos..

Guys i have a hard time believing that we have either Hurst or Tiny on our board. Last year our line was crippled by injuries and i seriously doubt that Gettleman is interested in bringing more o-linemen in with serious injury concerns..

Jimbo Fischer with huge praise of Benjamin on NFLN right now.. :-)

#2755984 Who would've guessed Cam was clutch on third downs?

Posted by Bozarden on 29 April 2014 - 03:07 PM

I am pretty sure that the thing he led the league in was completion % on 3rd downs. As you can see he led by a whole percent over number 2 with 68.5%.

#2751265 Bill Voth says no tackle in the first

Posted by Bozarden on 25 April 2014 - 09:55 AM

Some would be disappointed but I think he would make great defense even better. Better than reaching for OT or WR. Could see top CB going here as well

I would be pissed if we chose another LB with our 1st pick. That would make it the 4th linebacker we chose with our 1st pick out of our last 9 1st round picks which is ridiculous!

I think a big reason why Hurney always hit on his 1st round picks was that he chose positions with extremely low bust rates like RB and LB with most of them.

At this point i would be extremely dissapointed with anything else than a WR, provided all the top talent isnt off the board at pick 28.

#2748031 Panthers Meeting with Adams for 2nd Time

Posted by Bozarden on 23 April 2014 - 11:06 AM

Good. I don't know why people continue to think a lot of these guys will last to 60. Its a good chance it won't happen.

Lol, teams actually address other positions in the draft than WR you know?

This is the deepest WR-draft in a long long time and there WILL be a great talent at WR available when we pick at 60. It is ridiculous how some guys think that all guys, that we are interested in will be gone by the time we pick in round 1 and 2..

#2731990 "Scootch over, first round WRs"---Allen Robinson needs room

Posted by Bozarden on 08 April 2014 - 04:53 PM

Nothing against Robinson, but it seems that the average Huddler thinks that all 32 picks of the 1st round will be wide receivers..

#2727904 Your pick in this scenario

Posted by Bozarden on 05 April 2014 - 10:29 AM

Marqise Lee hands down. My favourite receiver in the draft outside of Mike Evans and Sammy Watkins. He is such a fluid athlete who got this season ruined by injuries and bad qb play..

#2718473 Gettleman Isn't a People's Person

Posted by Bozarden on 27 March 2014 - 02:16 PM

Please stop hating on Gettleman, this is getting to a point where it is simply ridiculous. Last year where he was even more cap-strapped than this year he managed to field a 12-4 team. Let the off-season play itself out and i bet you we will be as competitive as we were last year if not more.

#2686012 everybody keeps forgetting...

Posted by Bozarden on 12 March 2014 - 02:04 AM

Or defend

Yeah, because the best front seven in the league isn't still intact? Who had EVER heard of Mike Mitchell before last season, let alone thought he was a good player.

With a pass rush as good as ours we can plug and play guys. It has been proven in Riveras' defensive scheme over and over again.

People really need to Chill the fu and let the off season happen. It is not Gettlemans philosophy to go out and spend all our cap room on day one. Let us just wait and see him repeat excactly what he did last season and i bet you we wont be a win under 10 next season.
