Because you know so much more than the many franchises that passed up on Gettleman year after year right? The Giants didn't even want him anymore and had to create a "special" role for him. By his own admission he was on his way out off football until the Panthers came calling. No doubt in my mind that he's one of the lowest paid GM's in the league. He's a dollar store GM.

While apparently Mr Scot has no knowledge of why teams passed over Dave Gettleman for GM, i can hear that you have a lot. Please enlighten us on why he never got the chance to be the GM of another team.

#3298871 Panthers now have two 5th round comp picks, not 5th and 6th

Posted by Bozarden on 25 March 2015 - 03:25 PM

The reason he is saying this is because due to us having such a low pick already, and the comp picks coming after the original 32 picks in the 5th round, it is almost like a 6th round pick at that point because all of the other teams will have picked in the 5th with their original picks.

december 2014 is basically 2015

#3290821 Dallas Sportscaster blasts Cowboys for signing Hardy

Posted by Bozarden on 19 March 2015 - 11:30 AM

Hardy is guilty until proven innocent in the eyes of the media even though most evidence points towards him being guilty and Nicole Holder being a gold digger. The districts attorney chose not to go through with the appeal case because Nicole's testimony in court wasn't consistent with what she told police the night of the arrest.

Hardy has made his fair share of bad decisions, but i find this to be completely overblown. The case was dismissed, the court system has moved on and so shoudl everyone else.

#3289205 Hardy to choose between Cowboys and Bucs

Posted by Bozarden on 18 March 2015 - 10:21 AM

People around here are acting like this FA move is like Reggie White going to Green Bay back in the day. And it just doesn't add up.

Hardy had a fair to good run here, when he was on the field. 2014 should have been his breakout year, but he spent it on the couch, collecting paychecks and working on his mix tape. Do you really think he's going to be in football shape or that he's past making dumb decisions? To get their money's worth out of him, they'll have to have round the clock babysitters with him and conditioning coaches waking him up at 5 a.m. each day.

Let him go. Just wish he'd have left that $13 million on the table for us last year.

Lol as if hardy didnt break out in 2012 when he had 11 sacks. 26 sacks in 2 years while Being a top 2 de against the run isnt Breaking out? He is a great player, no need to Sell him short, just because he is a headcase

#3283669 Is Brenton Bersin really that bad?

Posted by Bozarden on 14 March 2015 - 05:41 AM

He easily did more bad last year than he did good. Has everyone forgotten his horrible drop that led to a saints interception in our home game against them last year? How he slipped when he was the 1st read (wtf shula) in the redzone vs the seahawks? There is no reason to have a player on the roster who is a complete liability everytime he takes the field.

#3273996 Panthers Re-sign Ed Dickson

Posted by Bozarden on 10 March 2015 - 02:22 PM

I do agree consistency is good, my only issue is that they're excited about signing back players that led to a 7-8-1 record. I realize Dickson was asked to block last season which isn't his thing but Voth is saying there's not much money left now.

We're basically going to field the same 7-8-1 team but with a new batch of rookies. Winning that last game in Atlanta doesn't look so good anymore, could've really used that 10th pick and grabbed a legit WR or OT

The thing that turned our season around last season was that we gave our young guys a shot to start and got a couple of pieces back from injuries. Getting those guys who found a winning formular at the end of the season back with a full off-season under their belt + a new batch of DG rookies makes me feel real good about next season.

Glad the we resigned Colin, now its time to pay Dwan.

Dwan led the DT's in tackles last year with 40 so i would really like to retain him along with Colin

Is Cam the QB for the Colts? I thought he was the only NFL QB with the ability to overthrow his receivers!

#3211410 It is great how

Posted by Bozarden on 18 January 2015 - 06:46 PM

Seattle has completely disowned the saying that you need a great QB to win. They have a great team, who kept together all game, despite of their offense falling apart repeatedly and in the end they capitalized on Green Bay who refused to put the game away. Wilson made some good plays to win the game in the end, but played an absolutely terrible game all in all, so please stop talking about how he should be in the hall of fame, when reality the entire Seattle team should go down in history as one of the most well put together.

#3211358 Russell Wilson is a first ballot hall of famer

Guys please just stop. If Cam had a game like this you'd all be busy talking about how kuechly and crew bailed him out and how DA should start. But i have never seen Cam have a performance as bad as the one wilson had today

If Cam throws 4 ints against a legit team like the Packers we lose at least 50-0
