#3146995 Now That We've Won, Let's Collectively Marvel At Norman's Incred...

Posted by xav8tor on 21 December 2014 - 04:14 PM

Norman and Brown both have a lot of upside in their respective positions, and are already performing well.  However, much of their play has been negated by immaturity, cockiness, and an occasional inopportune lack of attention to Football 101 techniques.  It's on the coaching staff to get their player's heads straight.  I hope that happens...quickly.

After this game we'll be ranked 32nd in the league defensively. So, whether Luke play or not we still suck. He's no difference maker for the defense.

Nah, having the DROY, DPOY, and NFL leader in tackles makes no difference whatsoever.

Last time I checked, .583 > .500, so would you rather be 3 and 3, or 3, 2 and 1?

#2985750 Are we going to completely ignore that Kuechly hasn't been playing well?

Alot of people have no issues when it's Cam being singled out. And his situation is ALOT worse than Luke's

The world is full of idiocy.  Luke can improve on pass coverage and Cam on short passes and more quickly getting rid of the ball.  They are the glimmers of hope, not the problems with this team right now.  You need to look higher up in the food chain to see where the real issues are with this team.

This thread broke the needle on my Stupidometer.

No kidding.  This threads singles him out and plenty of others rag on him too.  Let's see here: The D is missing key players, others aren't showing up (to their normal/potential anyway), and he still shoulders the role of leader.  Nevertheless, Luke was one tackle shy of being tied for first in the NFL in TT, has three PD's, a sack, and an FF, and dang close to a pick six today.

Has the DROY then DPOY done better than he has over the past two games?  Yes.  Has he missed a few tackles?  Duh, but most guys won't miss those opportunities because they'd have never been near the ball in the first place.  Can he do better yet?  Yes, that's the scary part (for other teams), and he'll be the first to tell you that he needs to improve in certain areas.

Get real.  Luke's play is the least of our issues right now.  In fact, it isn't an issue at all.

Despite some good play calling so far, that last series is why I am not a Shula fan.  DA is hot and our WR's are catching everything tossed their way.  Runs inside and outside are getting stuffed. What is our OC thinking…or is he thinking?

Wow... the Saints player #27 blitzing got a great jump, and really kind of just missed Cam.  That last drive was just awesome.

He didn't just miss Cam.  Watch closer, especially the view at 2:09 to 2:10.  Tolbert got a piece of 27 and shoved him out of the play.

Nice move by US Airways.  Gotta give them credit.  Whoever put that bird on that leg deserves a raise.

notice Luke pull Captain up and back on to his feet and plow holmes at the same time.  I hadnt seen that angle.

I just noticed that too.  I wish I had that as a reply gif for the thread where guys were bitchin' about Luke's pass coverage skills et al.  Seriously, how many players at ANY position, at ANY level of experience, would have made that play?  VERY few. Doesn't show up in stats either, but you can bet every guy in a film room sees it and plays it back a few times.

Go in tonite. Then "cough cough " leave early with cold

Show up on crowd shot during game, boss watching.  Go to work next day.  Then leave early with a pink slip and an appointment with the unemployment office.

Nice eye Zod.  Can we all chip in and get you to the MIA game?  Some shots at that one would be nice, especially if the weather is warm.

The most interesting piece of info in this thread has to be that people down there in the Carolinas apparently have a problem with sh** in between their toes. Yall must be a fan of foul coffee as well, There are close to 50 Starbucks locations in Charlotte. I cant say we support your products the same up here I mean who uses tobacco anymore its not 1982,, hasn't looked cool for decades.

I will predict the score by using the average number of teeth in an adult in Seattle vs in North Carolina   Seattle- 32    Carolina- 7

Actually, in a recent study published in the American Journal of Preventive and Restorative Dentistry, Seattle ranked 47th out of the 50 largest USA metro areas in terms of relative dental health of their population while Charlotte ranked third.

What about you guys? I would like to hear your insight about your team, since a lot of you are confident and think you will beat us.

(59 + 58 + 52 + 76 + 95 + 96  + 68 + 27 = -3) * 1

Edit (Tues, 9/3):  Oddly, even though Star and Kawaan changed jersey numbers today to 98 and 99, the modified result is still the same = NEGATIVE 3.
