#1730072 Jon Beason Says Poe Would "shore Up Position"

Posted by cotblock on 14 April 2012 - 03:20 PM

I believe he had a sack-fumble against Washington as well?

I think in the end improved CB play will improve DL play and vice versa. Our FA just needs someone to improve one facet of our defense which will complement the other improving the defense overall.

Doesn't work that way. It's a one-way street. Improved DL play will help the CBs, but the reverse isn't true. Yeah, there may be a once a game coverage sack, but that wouldn't be the same thing. If your CBs can cover for 10 seconds but your DL can't get penetration or stop the run, the other team is just gonna either dink and dunk you to death or run it down your throat. Then the pressure is on the CBs to help with the underneath passes or stop the run and suddenly they are getting burned because the front 7 can't stop anyone.

When did I say that

It's the clear implication, given the context. Or were you unaware of what thread in which you were replying? Are you now implying that, no we indeed do not need to spend a high draft pick on a CB, not because we have Hogan, but for some other reason?

Everyone keeps saying Brandon Hogan but we've seen next to nothing from him on the NFL level. He's an unknown, stop touting him as the answer when we know nothing about him.

Yeah, we should keep touting Jenkins/Claiborne/Gilmore/Kirkpatrick as the answer since they have WAY more NFL experience. <_<

I'm on the Coples Train. I mean come on he has cool brands

If they were on his face, I'd say take him. At least then he would scare the poo out of several OTs.

Opposition to gay marriage is irrational, but that doesn't matter to those who oppose it because their opposition is based in fear. They can deny that all they want, but Sharkman's post was full of it. Fear is the enemy of love, unity, peace, and true spirituality.

so if we attempt to improve... but fail... it's still a good move, cause yah know hey at least we gave it a try! LOL love the high standards around here

Goodson was going to be cut. If we had cut him, we would receive nothing in return for him. This way, we receive a prospect. We already win. Potential > Nothing every time. If the potential doesn't pan out, then we end up with precisely what we would have had with cutting Goodson. What Goodson achieves at Oakland is completely irrelevant to our situation. Seems Oakland had pretty much the same situation, so it's a win/win.

Yes English does teach that outside of the classroom the room still applies. However, God gave me enough common sense to know what platform to use correct Grammar and English. Texting and forums does not qualify to be on that platform, what required there is getting your point across using the fewest letters that still allows an intelligent reader to understand. Ohhh, my bad...

#1706536 3Rd Greatest Rushing Attack In Nfl History?

Posted by cotblock on 27 March 2012 - 08:20 PM

Out of 46 Super Bowl Champions, only 3 of them passed for 4000 yds. So obviously, since Super Bowl Champions tend to rush for fewer than 5 yds/carry and throw for fewer than 4000 yds/year, our offense was just too damned efficient last year. It's all Chud's fault! Fire him now!

I learned one thing on huddle from all this. People have no fuging clue about basic law in country they live in. People jump to conclusion all to fast and scream "Hang him!" before they know what really went on.This is exactly why government loves American people.

People who have an emotional investment in their beliefs are going to be irrational. This includes those on both sides. The sad fact is that it has come down to sides. Us vs. Them. It is a tragedy for everyone involved. Both persons made foolish decisions. As long as emotion rules the day, justice is virtually impossible. I don't know if we as a nation will ever grow up enough to actually practice justice.

#1706333 The Case For Janoris Jenkins

Posted by cotblock on 27 March 2012 - 05:31 PM

Stephon Gilmore has less baggage..is bigger and is a Carolinas product...like.

I think Jenkins has a shot at being a Revis type guy however..Gilmore more of a Dunta Robinson, Arron Ross performer..

Jenkins could also have a Pac Man Jones type career as well..less guns hopefully.

I like Gilmore in the 2nd round too. High character kid, good grades, good football IQ, gifted physically. Really think he'll be a lot like Gamble.
