Damnit now I cant go to this gun range and use my bazookas....FARKKKK

yeah, I don't condone the singling out of an entire group of people like that. She should do a membership system where they can run backgrounds on all their applicants. If you see something on their social media that don't jive right? Then deny their membership. But lumping everyone in with the lowest common denominator of a group is counter productive. She should know that seeing how the tea party is constantly represented by the media as their lowest common denominator. But then again, she might be 1 of those at the bottom?

#3020293 Your Libertarian Senate Candidate - Vote 3rd Party!

In all honesty, what are the qualifications of the other two candidates??

What exactly makes a person "qualified" to run for office? I'm curious to see what other people think here.

What is his Fund-raising potential? Does he have powerful friends he can sell his votes to? & what is his golf handicap?

Actually, I listened to some guy the other day who was for all intents a very left leaning academic, but, he said over the last several years, had changed his view on Islam.

His assertion was that Islam was a very violent religion, but that all muslims were not violent.  The other way around is how some are presenting the religion with it being a religion of peace but with some off the wall characters taking it too far.

Bill Maher?

You're never going to outlaw them is this country. I've come to terms with that.

But I still think progress can be made in how we think about guns, and how to not be overly reliant on guns, and not be so quick to use guns.

In my perfect world, guns (using lethal ammunition) aren't used for self-defense or home defense. There are other ways to protect yourself. Still pie in the sky, but one can dream.

When I was coming up, there was a fight everyday in the playground after school. Then one day it was drive-by's. I don't know what happened? I like living peacefully. But never feel the need to leave myself vulnerable. I guess most of us really do feel that way? I'm not an enthusiast or a collector or nothing like that. I just enjoy the peace of mind is all.

#3004338 This Thom Tillis ad is ridiculous

That's one of the biggest problems in elections. 49% vote Democrat, 49% vote Republican, and 2% actually make choices.

If I have learned anything from this forum? It's that our current state of politics is nothing but a giant divider. That is terrible leadership in my opinion. And both parties are as equally guilty of it.

When's the last time a libertarian has won anything?  Go ahead...keep doing it though if you enjoy splitting the voting power of what's most important to you.

Seats in the Senate
0 / 100
Seats in the House
0 / 435
0 / 50
State Upper House Seats
0 / 1,972
State Lower House Seats
0 / 5,411

My vote is my voice. And i am using it to say fugg off. Libertarians may not win. I get that. But I feel like a loser every time I vote for an R or a D

Why oh why can't we have a third choice?  I don't want to vote for either of these idiots.

And this goes for elections in general. All of my votes are going libertarian for now on. Don't care if I'm the only 1. But my days of voting for any dem or rep are done.

#2960437 Should the government intervene with the NFL's policies?

Posted by Harris Aballah on 17 September 2014 - 01:20 PM

It's like saying if I get in trouble out in the world, that my boss should be held accountable. I think the police should be all up in AP's business right now. Because what he did to that youngin' is unforgivable. But unless the NFL buried info or hid facts from the public? Or obstructed evidence in investigations? They cannot be held accountable for what the thousands of players employed by the league are doing everyday even in the off season. 99% of these guys are college educated, and everyone of them over the age of 21. They are their own men and should be held accountable just as the rest of us adults in this world. AP shouldn't play football again. Not because the NFL bans him. But because justice is served and he will be too old to play when he leaves prison.

After everything that has been said about Ferguson this week..., You still feel safer in a world where only gov agents have guns?

#2908847 Universal "Guns Aren't the Issue" Playbook

Because we would be helpless against the state. Could you imagine police and military having access to all the guns in the world, but the general population would be denied them? That's a perfect recipe for tyranny.

In a perfect world there would be no such thing as guns. But if they are accessible for some, they should be accessible for all.

And it's got to be one of the first reasons other countries don't try to invade us. Every block's gotta Glock!
