#3325836 Gurley: Ready by training camp

Posted by MCC on Today, 10:27 AM

I could see him taking Kugbillas bike for some of camp though. Will take some time to get back into football shape plus you don't want to throw him in at nfl speeds when coming off injury. My uninformed guess would be that he would be brought along slowly and be active at the beginning of October. But that's just me.

That still should not be a real factor in picking him. He is a rare talent.

You say that like Kugbilla won't be on that bike.

#3325348 Best/favorite NC craft brew?

Posted by MCC on Yesterday, 07:06 PM

Naming the best brew in NC is tough since there are so many good ones and it is very subjective.

Not saying these are the best, but they are very good and what I will be drinking tonight.

I would prefer Agholor over Perriman, that's for sure.

#3308487 Greg Jennings Thinking About Breaking Signing On Social Media

I'm glad he pranked you guys. Who stays up til 1 AM just to see an announcement from a player regarding a signing.

You all deserved it!

#3306928 Interesting mock draft

I honestly don't think Green is worth a 2nd. A 3rd, probably, but I believe there will be much better players on the board at 57.

#3306586 Season 5: The Walking Dead

Posted by MCC on 31 March 2015 - 10:20 AM

Holy crap. Loved that entire finale. Need to rewatch to soak it all in, but I haven't felt that much tension in an episode since the last season of Breaking Bad.

That's exactly what I told my friend after it ended. I miss having that feeling when watching a show.

#3305837 on paper, our new RB Jordan Todman is an upgrade over Fozzy

Just setting up to take BPA in the draft, like Gettleman has said all along.

#3305764 A Message From Kony Ealy

An improved Kony Ealy and a sober Frank Alexander makes for a much improved d-line in 2015.

#3302473 Panthers claim OT Jonathan Martin

Great signing. Our tackle depth is already much better than last season with two cheap, low risk signings.

I don't see how anyone could not like this signing. There's virtually zero risk involved.

Some people, especially on the Huddle, are just not very smart.

#3302182 Jarrett Boykin signed to 1 year deal

Posted by MCC on 27 March 2015 - 02:27 PM

Bersin is a WR from the Charlotte area and went to Latin. Boykin is a WR from the Charlotte area went to Butler. Duke's Jamison Crowder is a WR from the Charlotte area and went to Monroe. Hmmmmm....

Let's sign Nicks as well and have a Charlotte all-star team.

#3300954 49ers Waive OT Jonathan Martin

Posted by MCC on 26 March 2015 - 05:56 PM

I say bring him in.  Oher, Remmers, Martin, and a draft pick would be much better than last year.

#3299954 I am on Bre shad Perriman's bandwagon

Posted by MCC on 26 March 2015 - 02:08 AM

Stephen Hill is also huge and super fast. Can Perriman do the other things that are necessary to become a go-to wide receiver? How is his route running?

Being an athletic freak is one thing, but we've seen time and time again that those traits don't always translate to being a productive NFL player.

#3295881 Mr. Richardson did flex muscles regarding Hardy

Posted by MCC on 23 March 2015 - 02:13 PM

Hardy embarrassed Mr. Richardson publicly and basically robbed him, too. So yeah, I could understand how he feels even though I think the media blew it way out proportion.

At least he admitted that he had something to do with it.

Smartest thing you've ever posted.

#3292075 Is this real? (Trading Newton)

Posted by MCC on 20 March 2015 - 09:28 AM

I hope this is sarcasm and even if it wasn't you have an out to say that it was

Go ahead...read those players again to yourself and try to find the common theme.

Let me help...

Steve Smith - WR (35 years old)

DeAngelo Williams - RB (31 years old)

Cam Newton - QB (25 years old)

Nothing gets past you.
