Norman is a beast

#3053786 Serious Question

Posted by Beast_3000 on 29 October 2014 - 07:08 PM

I have both, which do you think will be better? I'm torn. I think Olsen is gonna have a big game tomorrow because of how little he did in the Seahawks game.

Start Olsen not because I am a Homer but I have the feeling they are gonna light Graham up with that bum shoulder

#3052336 What's the difference between Bersin, Coctchrey, and Avant?

Posted by Beast_3000 on 28 October 2014 - 10:36 PM

While I like most of the ideas presented about the need for speed. Unfortunately we are missing one important factor. We do not have a competent offensive coordinator. Shula wants a slow methodical ball control offense and so does Rivera. Honestly the only offense Shula knows is slow and methodical. That's the offense he ran at Tampa and Alabama.

#3051464 Darin Gantt excoriates Roman Harper

Posted by Beast_3000 on 28 October 2014 - 03:19 PM

I still can't believe we signed that fuger

I can't either. While Gettleman does a pretty good job identifying some talent,he failed at signing other adequate talent. To his defense he brought in Harper as attitude and a stop gag for a front seven that was supposed to be tougher than last year.

Our veteran defensive tackles are showing their age and Hardy left a huge hole on the defensive line. Harper has looked worse because of the anomalies Gettleman didn't account for.

Injuries, suspensions and aging players are part of the game.

#3050990 OT Remmers Signed. Lester Bumped to Active Roster. Darrin Reaves Released....

Posted by Beast_3000 on 28 October 2014 - 10:46 AM

Also, as stated earlier Lester > Boston

In pass coverage yes, but he is terrible taking routes to a running back or streaking wide receiver after a catch. I hope we see improvement there.

#3048083 A humble suggestion for Shula....

Posted by Beast_3000 on 27 October 2014 - 08:43 AM

I rather have Chud than Shula . While he didn't run the ball enough he put up points and he was creative.

#3047937 Stewart ran well today

Posted by Beast_3000 on 27 October 2014 - 07:16 AM

Yes Stewart did run really well. He had to break quite a few tackles to get his yards but he was just as effective as Lynch. I think Norwell and Turner should start when they are both healthy with Felasco as the primary backup at guard.

#3037792 Props to Zod aka Igo

#3034310 Clinton Portis on WFNZ yesterday....

Posted by Beast_3000 on 21 October 2014 - 07:00 AM

He is retarded.

You don't think Cam notices the talent that Dalton, Capernick and Luck has surrounding them on the offensive side of the ball?

We are not being honest with ourselves if we do not look at things from an outsiders point of view.

In the end I think he stays, but this offseason will require some touh decisions and retooling of talent.

I have been wondering the same thing lately. You put Cam on most teams and you instantly have an upgrade and much better team. That includes every team in our conference. He is surrounded by junk. We have about five quality players on offense with him . Although our running backs are quality they require lineman to open holes for them. We don't have that.

Gettleman has this offseason to surround Cam with some more talent or I think Cam would be silly not to test free agency.

On the bright side if most of the offseason talent involves a revamped offensive line my whining like a little b$&ch is all for naught.

#3021247 PFF's Top Graded QBs so Far?

Posted by Beast_3000 on 14 October 2014 - 05:53 PM

Stats aren't everything, Peyton Manning is the best qb in the NFL

Agreed but Cam is doing wonders with way less. I wonder if Peyton could have put up 37 on Cincinnati IN Cincinnati with the Panthers personnel. I highly doubt it.
The only other quarterback that may have been able to do that, in my opinion is Aaron Rodgers.

#3019915 Burfict make MNF!

Posted by Beast_3000 on 13 October 2014 - 09:03 PM

But stated the Bengals coach, what's his name, laughed it off, "professional wrestling" .

Thomas Davis should have speared Marvin Lewis as if he was jumping off the top turnbuckle and got up and "laughed it off".

Burfict twisted Cam's ankle after the play. Bush league.

I just saw that on the replay. Then he had the audacity to smile about it. Those are the type of plays the league should fine for.

#3009673 Playbook on NFLN: A worrisome defensive stat

They need to design dome more stunts for Kawaan Short and Edwards. Pressure can be created to help the back end by confusing the offensive line with new schemes.
