It hurts, but it's for the best. He deserves to play, he absolutely deserves to have the opportunity to play at his best. He wasn't going to get that here. No one should be bitter or angry about this, it's part of the business.
Sorry, off topic, but this is just driving me crazy. Just read through all 20 pages of this thread and every time I scroll past any of fieryprophet's posts I get stuck gazing at the hot chica at the bottom of his post. I sent a PM to him asking who she is and have got no response.
Please help a brother out. WHO IS SHE?!?!
I didn't reply because I honestly couldn't remember where I found the pic and when I went looking I got. . .preoccupied.
Yeah could be a seamless transition and he really blossoms as an OL, but how often do players switching positions in the NFL work? I just don't trust it.
The knock on Chandler has been his run blocking.
However, that being said, he finished the preseason playing 55 snaps against Pittsburgh at LT and preserved his 100% pass blocking efficiency, has only committed 1 penalty in all 4 games combined, and graded at +2.0 overall with a +1.5 in pass blocking and even a +0.1 in run blocking in the final game. He has given up no QB hurries, hits, or sacks in 127 total snaps.
Granted, he still has a long way to go but his overall performance has been highly encouraging.
