#3165758 Reasoning for Suh Suspension Being Lifted

Posted by Care-Oh-Linuh on 31 December 2014 - 11:15 AM

That wasn't the reason. Nfl prohibits suspension on a first time offense.
Now while we all no it wasn't the first time he did this, let me explain....

Conduct policy states that a "repeat offender" is defined by having committed an offense that brought forth league enforcement of punishment twice in a matter of 32 games.

Suh was in his 32nd game vs GB therefore he was operating on a "clean slate" not punishable by suspension.
That's the real reason he won the appeal. It wasn't legal.

Well we can't score for poo so.....
If we can get him cheap as hell, reward>risk

It helps that he's wearing the same number as sproles, but I agree. He's 10x better than barner already.

Hate when people flaunt realities rather than accepting them. Wish people would just live. That would make you equal.

#2854371 Will the Hornets have an All-star this year?

I think Al AND Lance both make it this year.

#2854366 Depth Chart and potential signings

Posted by Care-Oh-Linuh on 16 July 2014 - 04:19 PM

I like pargo as 3rd pg
My pick for SF: Beasley
The guy is young and has underrated talent. Rebounds well on top of reasonable point totals.

My pick for C: Ed Davis
Also young and underrated. He would be a steal IMO. He's been stashed behind vets his whole career but has always proven his worth when he gets those longer bench minutes. Potentially our starting PF/C if Vonleh or Zeller struggle in the future?

I like these picks because you'd get talent as good as some vets but would also continue to build for the future.

#2849213 Interesting nugget right here......

Maybe something isn't popping up on my phone...

I'll just sit here quietly so I don't look more like a moron.

I got you bro.

There's an exception in the Roberts contract that allows us to not sign until we are done signing elsewhere. Basically he's ours for free at the moment. Meaning we have right around.....15mil in open cap still. Before rookies but their numbers show about 2 mil for both so....

Whether we get lance or not. I like this signing. Roberts will surprise a lot of people.

#2843539 Hayward agrees to sign

Posted by Care-Oh-Linuh on 09 July 2014 - 01:17 AM

Woj reported that 5-7 teams called about a S&T for Gordon, but Charlotte hasn't even contacted them.

They aren't gonna S&T. I doubt Cho would even talk to them. It's put up or shut up for Utah.

It's not our place to call and ask about the sign and trade. We just want Hayward.
We put the ball in their court with this offer.
They very well could've been bluffing and may not want to match this, so their best interest would be to ask us for something in return for him.
Which is great for us because it gives us the amazing opportunity of clearing cap before he actually signs.

Cho is playing hardball and I love it.

#2843527 Hayward agrees to sign

Posted by Care-Oh-Linuh on 09 July 2014 - 01:09 AM

The deal includes a player option in the 4th year
Along with a trade kicker. Hayward also cannot be traded in the first year without consent.

Keep in mind that on top of the money, the Jazz would also have to agree to these terms if they want to match.

Also it's good that this got done tonight because he has only agreed which means that we could still sign and trade for him. I have no doubt that our guys will be talking trade all day with Utah.

I don't know but when they correct that, the comment will look dumb.

Good for some likes I guess......?

no he was a pussy for not giving 100%

How would you possibly know what effort a player with a torn muscle in his foot is putting forth? Forget he's 300 lbs? Pretty sure he's in a lot of pain.
