#3224227 Rivera up for Coach of the Year Again

Posted by Mojo on Yesterday, 01:57 PM

Once he put in the right people?????
They became what they were because of him and the coaching staff. It wasn't like he refused to put them in, they either were not healthy or weren't ready. The fact that we won a playoff game starting 6 rookies was unprecedented until he did it. He did the best job of his short HC career. Maybe you should try basketball because you know nothing about football.

Ooh so sensitive.
I'm sorry I must have rubbed you the wrong way but i'll spell it out for you since you seem hellbent on debating this.

Remember when...
Antoine Cason was getting burned consistently and he was left in as the #1 corner while Melvin White (the better corner) was benched for a mistake in the Ravens game.

Coaching decision

Remember when...
Andrew Norwell clearly outplayed Amini Silatolu but Amini got the nod until injuries forced a change?

Coaching decision.

Remember when...
Byron Bell and Nate Chandler were named our starting tackles?

Coaching decision.

Remember when...
Deangelo Williams was getting more carries than stew, when he was clearly being outplayed? Injury to Dlo forced his hand with stew.

Coaching decision..

Remember when...
Seattle was very weak against tight ends and greg olsen was barely used to attack the deficiency? Brenton Bersin was the first read in a playoff game. Remember that?

Coaching decision.

Sure I know nothing about football.
We need to get you a cup of decaf too. Hop off.

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Tears streaming down my face. Lol. Wow so great.

#3224041 Rivera up for Coach of the Year Again

Our OL was a train wreck....our WR corp was a rookie and three slow journemen....our RB's were hurt much of the season....we had our best DE gone for the entire season....our DB's consisted of bargain bin signings early in the season and rookies in the last 1/3 of the season.

If you cannot see that this is a very questionable roster and that Rivera actually did a lot with a little, then it is YOU that should watch more football....Dude.

Please. Stop being dramatic.

Once he played the right people our roster was fine. (Not world beaters obv, but serviceable)

He did an ok job. Coach of the year no.

I'm speaking solely from a coaching perspective. Clock management, talent evaluation etc. Rivera wakes up when he thinks his job is jeopardy and to close the year he did do a pretty good job. Players play hard for him and that's cool but he has a lot to work on. Maybe you should try decaf today. Dude.

#3223382 Superbowl over hyped to the point of nauseum

Over hyped? Its the Superbowl. Arguably the greatest sports event in the world. Just don't watch it ain't that serious.

I love football so I will enjoy every part of ut.

#3221078 Yeah...You're not gonna like this (comments from Bobby Wagner)

I don't see how anyone can disagree or be mad at that. We can't be considered rivals of theirs. Sf is more appropriate.

Says more about Browner than the Patriots.

Ravens will be fine. It all starts with Harbaugh and he's top of the line.

I root for greatness. Brady is about as great as they come. Seattle's defense is great as well.

Stop being a hater and enjoy the two best teams in football.

I'm thinking Edelman will be lined up against Sherman mostly. He's quick as hell and should give him problems. I expect Gronk to be used heavily too along with Vereen as a receiver.

I'm thinking the Pats take it but it should be a great game.

#3206584 Duron Carter had dinner with Rivera and Gettleman lastnight.

When the WR is the son of a hall of famer and a major network analyst.

Funny our OC is pretty much in the same boat. Hopefully Duron turns out being more like his father than Mike.

#3204876 Will Josh Norman command a big contract next offseason?

Posted by Mojo on 14 January 2015 - 02:33 PM

Having had long conversations with Josh I think he will accept a reasonable contract and stay in Carolina. Josh is ego driven, not money driven. He wants respect and validation more than money, which is rare in a pro athlete.

He is one of the most entertaining cats I've heard on any podcast, ever. Good stuff jno24.

Boy? You're funny

Implying that you're communicating with retards when addressing me that's the response you get.

Men can have a difference of opinion without resorting to calling each other retards. Since that doesn't apply to you, yes boy.

#3203700 The Shula hate is overblown.

Its not hate. He's simply not a good offensive coordinator at this level. He needs to improve or we find a better option. Wanting improvement is paramount to the development of this team and its dynamic qb.

Take off your cape.

He made Bersin the first read in an important playoff game vs. the best secondary in football.

Cmon now.
