#2184841 Dark Souls

Posted by P-paw on 03 April 2013 - 01:48 PM

I'm near the end of the game...trying to beat the four kings..but to be honest, I've kind of lost interest in the game because I have no idea what the hell is going on. Plus I just don't have the time to sit in the forest all day long and grind..
I LOVE the gameplay and it's difficult..but I hope Dark Souls 2 brings a story worth a damn..because even in Demon Souls, you don't really know what's going on..

Firebombs were the easiest way to kill him ... I killed him really early on the fight took about 30 mins though.

I killed that wolf bastard earlier..
It was a pretty epic fight..I had about an inch of health left as he had about a third left. I figure I'm not going to kill him again and just charge away and start slashing..then the next thing I know he has about an inch of health left as well when I smacked his nose with my sword for the kill. I'll remember that battle for a while, that's for sure.. haha

Go below the bridge the way you went to get to the top bell and hang a right and theres an area where you can see his tail dangling.. just open up arrows on it till it breaks.. can take up to 5 mins depending on your bow damage.

Hell yeah man I got this yesterday..It's nice, but I use the Astora Sword+3 because it's a bit lighter for now..but I do love the two handed power move it has because of the distance.

Buddy let me borrow it I managed to get past the top bell and kill the moonlight butterfly.. then the dragon in some other dungeon..killed the wolf in the forest .. killed the hydra on the lake .. and was starting to work my way down the catacombs when he asked for it back.. One day though that games ass is mine!

When I saw the wolf I was like :o Then I saw the hydra and was like :OOOOO lol
It's a great game though..love the old school difficulty..

#1987278 Greg Hardy getting some national attention

Posted by P-paw on 08 November 2012 - 12:07 AM

Yeah, Pro Bowl is a pipe dream. I'm just happy he's realizing some of the major potential our fans always knew he had in him. Keep it up, Kraken.

THIS.
You can tell something set in and got him on track. He seems more focused now..

Oh, and I fuging love the fact that he's a headcase. A PRODUCTIVE headcase. I mean, look at John Randle...he used to smear the paint on his face as well..You see, I think people like Hardy and John see the game in a different light than most of the others do these days. It isn't a "game". It's a battle...and the black smears on their face isn't to block out the sun. It's warpaint.

#1986769 If the Panthers end up a top five defense......

Posted by P-paw on 07 November 2012 - 04:40 PM

HOLY poo
I had to find a random thread about our defense to say this but I was looking at some stats and Dwan Edwards is SECOND in DT production, next to only Probowler Geno Atkins.

I was also able to find out that there isn't another team in the NFL that can say they have 2 players in the top 15 in sacks. (We actually have 3 in the top 25...with Dwan coming in at 23..)

And I had to smirk when I saw that Julius Peppers is tied with Dwan, in sacks.
We probably don't praise this guy enough..but the emergence of Edwards has really made an impact on this defense!

#1976630 Conte fined for hit on Lafell

Posted by P-paw on 02 November 2012 - 05:16 PM

I personally think its fugged up to fine someone that much money when they make that little to begin with. He made 5 G's compared to the 26 he should have.

The NFL needs to fix the fines, and help out the players who don't make as much.

To be clear, he should have been fined, but I completely disagree with the amt

Man..I personally believe that ALL sport athletes are overpaid. He should only be making 5k a game to begin with. Doctors and teachers should make more than them in my opinion.

#1940808 So...how did the texans go from worst team (with David Carr)....

Posted by P-paw on 09 October 2012 - 10:17 AM

Remember that it took Kubiak 6 years to make the playoffs. I'm not defending the current staff or wanting that but how many people here would be happy to wait that long?

Thing is, we don't have to wait that long. We are literally 2 plays from the huddle not imploding..and the Panthers being 3-2. (Cam fumble in ATL game), (4th and 1 at the goal line boot out, last week). It just seems we can't finish. No one is hardly doing their job in Carolina, and that goes to the coaches..as well as the players.

They have celebs on the sidelines.

Bieber at Lakers games. (SMH, Why not Jack?)

Bow Wow at Miami games.

Wale at Wizard games.

Jay-Z at Brooklyn games.

Lol, this in general is ghey.

#1938078 Time to move on from Steve Smith

Posted by P-paw on 07 October 2012 - 06:37 PM

Our players don't look well coached or disciplined. We have Smith getting into fights and poo like this is his rookie season all over again. Ron Rivera has no spine. That's why he has his arms crossed the whole game, to help balance him up right.

#1775914 Comparing Lesean Mccoy's Contract To D-Will's

Posted by P-paw on 17 May 2012 - 05:48 PM

By those numbers, they overpaid like crazy for McCoy. He's no where NEAR the back D-Will is.

#1563129 Can Jeff Reed be our 2nd Jeremy Shockey?

If you aren't ready for another decade of mediocrity go find another team.

You don't seem to Happy, you know? x)

Am I the only Panther fan that considers the Katrina jokes to be really classless?

Agreed. I mean, what the hell does a Hurricane that tragically killed thousands of people have ANYTHING to do with...hell...football period. We shouldn't joke about something like that. Period.
