Fan Experience - Panthers vs. Hornets

I was thinking after the game last night the differences between the fan experience at Panthers games and last night's Hornets game. I realize last night was something special (being a homecoming of sorts for our beloved Hornets), but do you think the Panthers brass has any desire to replicate that feeling for the Panthers fans?

Jerry Richardson was at the hive last night and he experienced what is was like to have a fan-first experience. Every employee in the place was cordial, friendly, and wished my wife and I a good evening. Everything the Hornets did last night was fan-centric (from the top notch giveaways to the friendly service and fan acknowledgement). They did it up right.

Do you feel the same way at Panthers games? Do you feel it is truly fans first or do you feel the team has a money-first mentality? The fans were rewarded last night for the patronage and thanked continually. I'm getting the feeling that Carolina has gotten used to being the best show in town and has let their service slip. I know we will never see Jerry Richardson pumping his fists like Jordan last night, but isn't it time to thank the fans for sticking with our up and down, inconsistent team?

4 Tickets Panthers vs. Saints (Section 541, row 28)

29 October 2014 - 09:53 AM

A friend of mine has 4 tickets to the game tomorrow night. They are in section 541 (at the 40 yard line), row 28 seats 19 through 22 (I believe they are two in from the end of the row).  He is looking to get face for them which is $68 apiece. Let me know if you're interested.

Is there a decent LT on someone's practice squad?

And if so, who is it?

Since we are trying every other option at tackle (including undrafted rookies and converted D-linemen) there must be some other option. How about signing a tackle from someone's PS?

Question for couch coordinators...

Is there an offensive philosophy that works with our current roster? We do not appear to be signing new offensive weapons, so what can we do with the roster we have?

What would you do? Overload one side and have Cam roll the other way? No-huddle hurry-up? Quick outs and drag routes? If you were given this roster, what kind of play calling are you installing in your base offense?

Josh Norman

21 October 2014 - 11:33 AM

I keep hearing everyone mention how much better we'll be when Norman returns. Am I the only one that fears the stupid penalties he brings for extra curricular activities after the whistle? I like his mean streak, but he does some boneheaded things when the play is over.

I'm on the fence about his return. I think the toughness he brings is needed, but he needs to be real disciplined in the coming weeks. We can't afford giving away more yards.
