#2068833 Monster Home Schedule next year

Posted by CRA on 30 December 2012 - 08:37 PM

Meh...can never tell what is tough and easy until you actually get to a new season.

#2068814 We have the 15th pick...EDIT, the 14th pick Saints 15th.

Posted by CRA on 30 December 2012 - 08:27 PM

Restructure Gross, trade Beason, and cut Gamble and DWill. With the extra cap room, sign Bowe from KC.

Draft Matthews or Fisher in the first round.

Sign a vet guard.

Draft a 3 technique DT in the second

Draft a S with the Beason trade.

Beason isn't tradable.

Two consecutive years on IR with the largest MLB contract in the NFL. No team is touching that.

#2068597 Best and worst moment of the year?

Posted by CRA on 30 December 2012 - 07:12 PM

Atl comeback - worst

Beating Bob Griffen - best

#2068169 Deangelo

Posted by CRA on 30 December 2012 - 05:25 PM

David Wilson - 7.7 ypc, 2 TDs
Micheal Turner - 6.2 ypc TD
Martin - 5.3 ypc TD
Matthews 6.7 ypc TD
McGahee 5.3 ypc TD

Saints suck. RBs have gashed them all year....look at those yards per carry. Whatever your DWill opinion was before this game.....it shouldn't change much

#2067611 Steve Smith moves up 2 spots to #23

Posted by CRA on 30 December 2012 - 03:34 PM

Jumped Rod Smith and Moose.

#23 all time rec yards

#2067064 Panthers Saints Game Thread

Film study. Chud uses that pump fake screen entirely too routinely....

#2065990 It was nice knowing you DeAngelo

Posted by CRA on 29 December 2012 - 08:22 PM

D Will is better thn Stew, who can barley walk at this point. Cut Stew, and draft a back.

Healthy?

A 30 yr old Williams isn't > than a 26 yr old Stewart. That is next year....

Williams was essentually benched the last 2 seasons bc Stewart is more complete. Stewart was jus banged up all year.

This is what happens when you have a gm with fan mentality. As fans we love Williams and Stewart. As a GM you don't give out one, much less TWO huge contracts to RB's. The best rb in the league was a first round pick. The second was an undrafted free agent. Get guys that can block and open up holes and a lot of guys including BRAD HOOVER!!!! can suceed

Yep...Nick Goings went for 100+ yards games week after week.

If you build a real team. OL, QB, WR, etc....RBs simply will have room to run.

Best rushing attack in the NFL has a 4th string converted FB....

But lets keep figuring out a way to keep RBs on the roster that cost money.

#2065498 Cam Newton: Best First Two Seasons Ever

Posted by CRA on 29 December 2012 - 08:17 AM

Jake was a better leader, emotional sparkplug and "professional".

Cam is by far the better QB and once he irons out a few things he still struggles with he could be legen...wait for it....dary.

Jake was also a veteran QB when he made his Panther debut

#2065057 A Panther fan slips into a coma shortly after Cam is drafted..

Posted by CRA on 28 December 2012 - 06:15 PM

A wakes up today...what do you tell him about Cams progress?

Most offensive production 2 yrs into a career in NFL history.... and the haters are out in full effect

#2065052 Cam fined an additonal 10k, Hardy, Godfrey also fined

Posted by CRA on 28 December 2012 - 06:12 PM

Except Hardy did none of that.

(f) He used his facemask, but didn't spear violently or unnecessarily. He obviously wasn't trying to hurt the guy, he was trying to tackle him. There's no way he could have had a chance at making the tackle without going directly for him and reaching out.
(1) He didn't hit the head, neck or face.
(2) He didn't lower his head. His facemask is clearly up from the photo evidence.
(3) He didn't launch. He ran through, exactly as they're supposed to tackle.

I don't see the problem. I hope he appeals.

Well he didn't violently hit Palmer....the textbook way you are taught by looking at your target.

NFL basically changing the way football is played. Flag football era is coming....big hits even if done correctly are simpy being discouraged

#2064873 Cam fined an additonal 10k, Hardy, Godfrey also fined

Posted by CRA on 28 December 2012 - 03:40 PM

well, I guess that is there way of saying the Luke Kuechly flag was bullpoo.

I don't get Hardy's fine though. If you can't plant your face mask in someone's mid section then that ain't football.

#2063698 Cam's Contract

Posted by CRA on 27 December 2012 - 12:36 PM

Then we will continue to struggle. 1-18 when Cam turns the ball over proves he needs help for us to win.

We have been in EVERY game except for a couple bc of him.

What we don't need to do is give fat deals to positions that are easy to fill and to multiple guys at those spots

#2062871 Cam Newton #1 Scrooge in the NFL

Posted by CRA on 26 December 2012 - 04:28 PM

that's the point where i dismissed the rest of the article. MANIACAL?!?!?!?!?! what does he secretly flip every kid the bird right before he gives them the football and only adam schein knows about it?

Newton even gave away record book balls at scores last year. Bashing what he does when he scores is full retard IMO....shows the guy writes about stuff he hasn't done basic homework on.

Also, it shows that journalism doesn't actually use journalist anymore....anyone can post poo thanks to the Internet.

Deep down I LOVE it though....it is a proven fact Newton plays the game better when hated and attempted to be made a villain. Only time he hasn't been good since nationally known was the brief start of this year when people in the media where attempting to "like" him. He simply plays better when it is him against the world
