#3127677 Cam Involved in serious car wreck, reportedly uninjured

Posted by KillerKat on 09 December 2014 - 05:08 PM

charlotte observer is reporting Cam was at fault in the accident

The Buick’s unidentified driver, writhing in pain on the sidewalk, told police that he was crossing Church Street when a truck “came flying down” the street and struck him.
Construction workers who wouldn’t identify themselves told an Observer reporter that Newton’s truck had barreled down Church Street, just north of the crash site, at a high speed.

future lawsuit impending

The guy ran a red light. Cam is not at fault. The Charlotte Observer sucks dick.

#3124676 Looks like we landed at least 4 starting caliber players from the 2014 draft...

Posted by KillerKat on 08 December 2014 - 09:15 AM

Uh...... no

UDFAs come into the league typically under much different circumstances, with tons of teams lobbying to sign them as soon as the draft is over. They are more like draft picks than typical NFL free agents.

What you described is the samething that happens to some players after they're cut. It's in the name.... Free Agent. Once the draft is done, everyone undrafted is a free agent. Everyone signed afterwards is considered a free agent signing. Not a drafted player since the draft is already over.

#3124557 KB should continue to get better at routes, but...those hands

Occasional drops are just who KB is. Not much you can do there. What really irks me is when he gives up on routes. I hope whoever coaches him next season corrects that.

KB reminds me of Moose before he went to the Bears. He was a really good receiver who had occasional drops but was still one of our top 2 receivers. I see KB as mostly a #2 that could be a #1 from time to time. We still need a full time #1.

It's the Panther way to win when it doesn't matter and get a lower draft pick.

#3120474 Stewart has been running so well lately that...

Could be the turning point for the offense and the Panthers!

Nothing like having a turning point 14 weeks into a season

#3119747 Alas, it's my fault the Panthers suck ass the year

Posted by KillerKat on 05 December 2014 - 05:51 PM

You might as well keep it as it is now. No need to start winning at this point.

#3117253 Panthers have allowed most QB pressure, 2X closest competition

Posted by KillerKat on 03 December 2014 - 04:42 PM

The stat could just mean Cam holds the ball too long and takes unnecessary sacks and hits and has no pocket presence or elusiveness.

Your post could mean you're a moron.

#3116851 Panthers Sign Kevin Greene

Posted by KillerKat on 03 December 2014 - 11:53 AM

They only signed him because of the name. Season is already over, might as well have some fun.

#3115856 Jason Williams waived too?

Posted by KillerKat on 02 December 2014 - 03:42 PM

And Byron Bell is still on the roster because...?

#3114815 Al Wallace said Cam Newton will never be a franchise qb

Posted by KillerKat on 02 December 2014 - 01:54 AM

Thank You! Cam hasn't carried sh*t. His only winning season was when we had an elite defense. Carrying your team actually involves having a winning record. Hell, Cam couldn't even carry our team to a .500 record until last year. Even RGIII legitimately carried his team to the playoffs his rookie year. You can't say a QB is carrying your team when you are 28-31-1 as a starter.

No, carrying your team means you actually carry them. That you are all that the offense has. That the team constantly relies on you because there is no one else. That is what Cam has been. He has been our offense because we haven't surrounded him with the line and weapons he needs.

All I got to say is look at Cam the first 3 years when he carried this team on his shoulders and the numbers he was able to put up. Then look at his supporting cast this year. It's no coincidence his play goes down when he's had the worst cast around him of his career. So yes. Pay the man.

#3113996 shula reveals how much freedom newton has to audible...

Posted by KillerKat on 01 December 2014 - 04:56 PM

Your franchise QB should have the chance to audible 100% of the time. Shula can eat a dick.

#3113965 The Official Rivera Poll

Posted by KillerKat on 01 December 2014 - 04:41 PM

i would have fired him at halftime yesterday.

I would've fired him after Week 7.

#3111292 Does anyone still believe...

Posted by KillerKat on 30 November 2014 - 04:03 PM

I mean if they are, then I have a whole lot more free time next year. Probably start rooting harder for another team that gives a damn until my own team care more about winning.
