#2876567 Our schedule is HORRIBLE

Posted by fjblair on 04 August 2014 - 05:09 PM

Who cares, just play the hand you are dealt.

#2853724 Hardy found guilty

Posted by fjblair on 16 July 2014 - 09:07 AM

The general rule is that if you are innocent, get tried by a judge who will rule based on the facts. If you are guilty then go with a jury trial because you should never underestimate the ignorance of the American public.

As for Hardy, he was guilty and got what he deserved.  Hopefully this will be a wake up call.  I agree with those who say he is gone. Assault on a female is a big problem for JR.

Right on but in this case I don't think a jury trial outcome will be any different and he's out there swinging in the wind that much longer. Not guilty from jury trial is not going to change the perception and another guilty verdict hammer fugs the kraken.

Take your medicine and go on.

#2852117 Hardy court thread : for all things that happen in court today

Posted by fjblair on 15 July 2014 - 04:51 PM

This girl has completely screwed herself by admitting to cocaine use. No one is going to want to be associated with that

I guess you have never done coke eh? That is a stupid statement. You think Hardy has ever done a rail? Where do you think she was scoring? Grow up. Cocaine doesn't change a gdamn thing.

She is a flake but the case is not going to turn on doing blow.

#2838350 Stiff-Arming Football Myths

Didn't read but the combine has to be somewhere in there. Worthless.

#2829243 Do you have a second team to root for?

Posted by fjblair on 24 June 2014 - 06:28 PM

If you are over 30 you probably have another team or two that you like. It's not like you kick the team you have followed your entire life to the curb the day the Panthers arrived. I gravitated to the Panthers from Washington and Danny Boy Snyder made it pretty painless. Thankfully my hate for Dallas was developed many years ago.

#2807985 Armanti Edwards has a job again

Love the junior high jokes. You gotta be a real prick or to not wish this guy the best.

#2787164 Hardy 911 call

Posted by fjblair on 14 May 2014 - 05:43 PM

Yeah in the case of domestic violence cases everytime I have ever seen the police come the guy was arrested. Doesn't matter who was at fault. They will 9 times out of 10 take the guy to jail for the night.

Every single time. Even if there is no evidence they will arrest on the female's word. The police have no choice because of the way the law is now written/interpreted. I understand why but everything in this country is overkill.

#2784838 I went to high school with Greg Hardy's girlfriend.

I saw Kevin Greene at Southpark Mall in 1997

You need to start your own thread...

#2718316 Rivera says Steve Smith no longer a deep threat.

Posted by fjblair on 27 March 2014 - 11:56 AM

Whatever. Every receiver is a "deep threat". It's stupid. You beat your man, you are a deep threat. Smitty was a "deep threat" several times last season and he will be a "deep threat" this season.

#2714047 Jonathon Jones and Joe Person - Observer Panthers "coverage"

Posted by fjblair on 23 March 2014 - 10:30 PM

why all the hand wringing, you guys expect a beat writer to announce every fart on the team when every player\trainer/locker room attendant has a twitter account?

I'm hoping from a lot more from these guys than a "scoop" that the entire universe is aware of in 5 minutes. Who cares, give me some insight, some context.

#2708968 Tiquan Underwood Visiting Panthers

Posted by fjblair on 20 March 2014 - 03:03 PM

This was one of my sleepers before FA even started.. he had 440 yards on 24 receptions last year. He averaged 18 yard per catch. runs a 4.31 at 6'1

I like his hair and those numbers.

#2708934 Cason coming to charlotte tonight

Posted by fjblair on 20 March 2014 - 02:51 PM

hopefully they take him to a nice dinner at Hooters across from the Marriott

gettleman will pick him up in jerry's 86 buick and they will hit a drive thru on the way to the stadium

#2705269 Cotchery leaves without contract

Posted by fjblair on 18 March 2014 - 05:14 PM

My thing is why even fuging bother with bringing them to town? Makes you look even more clueless. If the genius wants draft our 2014 WR core then stop with the fuging charades and wait for the draft.

#2700270 Has Gettleman finally made a big gaffe?

Posted by fjblair on 16 March 2014 - 10:44 AM

I just don't think any players like the fuger and yes he has stepped on his dick.

#2687828 Steve Smith Will Not Be In a Panthers Uniform Next Season

Posted by fjblair on 12 March 2014 - 04:26 PM

Gettleman is getting too cocky

Not as clever as he thinks he is. He's been here a year, done nothing really, RR and the team have a very good season and he wants to blow it up and start over.
