#3053936 Panthers the hammer or the nail tomorrow....predictions

Posted by PantherFanOne on 29 October 2014 - 07:52 PM

So if they lose, does that mean the season is over (baring some unfortunate circumstances with the Saints remaining schedule?)

This is a must win for us because there is no way in holy hades we will beat the Saints when we play them in New Orleans, Dec 7th.

#3053162 What's the difference between Bersin, Coctchrey, and Avant?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 29 October 2014 - 01:53 PM

While I like most of the ideas presented about the need for speed. Unfortunately we are missing one important factor. We do not have a competent offensive coordinator. Shula wants a slow methodical ball control offense and so does Rivera. Honestly the only offense Shula knows is slow and methodical. That's the offense he ran at Tampa and Alabama.

The problem with Shula's and Rivera's slow methodical ball control offense,is that the other team,no mattter how bad, will hang around and have a chance to beat you at the end of the game. The good teams will get a little cushion and this type offense has no chance,or means,to catch up. Game over.

I am sick of this dull ass hum drum offense and play calling of Shula's and sick of Rivera for letting it happen. If we are playing a superior team, that is certain to beat us,I would rather it be exciting game, instead of the crap we have seen this year. Of course Rivera always has an excuse when we lose, saying they will look at the game tape and see what happened to cause the loss. What a crock of murlarkey.

#3053123 David Foucault Starting at Left Tackle

All i can say about Foucault and our entire line is.....(Thinking) "Heaven please help Cam make it through this game uninjured".

#3052083 Huddle Tailgate Thread- *Panthers vs. Aints*

Posted by PantherFanOne on 28 October 2014 - 08:13 PM

Count me in,not sure the exact time i'll be there. Hold the fort (and beer) down.

#3052073 Falcons sign former Panthers DB Charles Godfrey

Posted by PantherFanOne on 28 October 2014 - 08:09 PM

My guess is that the Falcon's are picking Godfrey's brains to learn more about our weakness (which are numerous)  and play calling,(which is laughable). It certainly wasn't fot his speed and cover ability. Snicker,Snicker. :)

#3049617 Is it wrong to boo your team?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 27 October 2014 - 05:48 PM

Nope, I am no longer a fan of this team. I will still post on here because I love the community here, but I refuse to support this team for the time being. I am now a Saints fan until further notice. The way this team has punished me weak in and weak out, its time they get punshed back by me switching to the most hated division rival.

This is really some bad and earth shattering news,I bet you were really a long time, loyal and devoted Carolina Panthers fan.:) The whole team will be crushed and heartbroken now that you have decided to jump ship in the middle of the season. Snicker,Snicker. :)

#3049183 Cam's first-down celebrations really bother a lot of people. Why?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 27 October 2014 - 02:59 PM

Lol....fug jim celania, chris "the ravens fan" mcclain and the other guy who is a jets/giants/whoever fan. Charlotte has to be one of, if not, the only major sports city, where ALL of the radio personalities aren't even fans if the goddamn team first!

Bingo!!!!! I often listen to their show because nothing else is worth listening to on the drive in  to work. I also find it odd that they are not diehard Panthers fans, since they work for a radio station located in the heart of the Carolina Panther fanbase.

#3048831 So Whose Getting Cut This Week

Posted by PantherFanOne on 27 October 2014 - 01:03 PM

Shula will probably get a raise, and Bell will probably get a statue.

Bell get a statue???   That is a great idea, place Bell on the bench and start the statue at LT,it would probably be an improvement. :)

#3039997 The the calm before the storm... Seahawks at Panthers Bold Predictions

Posted by PantherFanOne on 24 October 2014 - 12:52 PM

Kelvin Benjamin has a career high day but we lose a close game. Seattle 27 Panthers 20. I would like to predict a Panthers victory but based on the way the Panthers  have been playing and considering our injuries,i will be suprised if it happens.

#3037628 Gameplan for Wilson?

Posted by PantherFanOne on 22 October 2014 - 06:20 PM

My guess is that Ron Rivera has chewed a lot of ass this week and the defense will be fired up enough to keep Wilson contained in the pocket. Fingers crossed.

#3037618 Seahawks players: Russel Wilson "not black enough"

Posted by PantherFanOne on 22 October 2014 - 06:07 PM

I bet my bottom dollar that if Russell Wilson was our QB instead of Cam,we would all be praising him and having his back if someone on the team,or the public, spoke harshly of him. However, since he plays on another team especially one we'er playing Sunday, the pitch forks come out and suddenly he is a garbage bearing monster. .

#3037596 Another Hardy Thread....

Posted by PantherFanOne on 22 October 2014 - 05:46 PM

Don't play....last anyone saw your were a beast

Play....risk injury and playing poorly. Weeks and weeks of being out of the football world means he isn't going to be in football form

You make valid points but if Hardy refused to play, that would show other NFL teams he lacked character and credibility by not supporting  a team that had payed him millions to sit. They would assume, rightly so,that he would probably prove to be undependable to them if they signed him, someone that puts forth no effort to go the extra mile. This would be  another bad issue to add to his history of personal problems, something he can ill afford.

#3037324 Seahawks players: Russel Wilson "not black enough"

Posted by PantherFanOne on 22 October 2014 - 02:25 PM

Holy crap that mouth.  Is she about to bite his armpit off?  Looks like Bram Stoker's nightmare.

I saw that same wide open mouth in the movie "Jaws'. :)

#3035663 Godfrey Released

Posted by PantherFanOne on 21 October 2014 - 03:16 PM

Which I have no problem with. His only crime right now is picking the wrong person to hang with. Which a lot of young athletes and regular people have a problem with.

You can bet your bottom dollar there are any number of NFL teams that will be licking their chops to sign Greg Hardy, if he is (or isn't) found guilty on these charges brought on by a coke snorting, gold digging wild woman.

#3033121 AJ Klein - Did you notice....

Posted by PantherFanOne on 20 October 2014 - 01:00 PM

We still have a great foundation to build around on defense. However, the secondary is a train wreck. I would cut every players except Bene and Josh Norman. Possibly keep DeCoud for depth purposes.

If we lose Hardy we should have a little money to play around with.

One things for certain,Harper and Godfrey need to be history as soon as possible. Both are to slow in their  reaction and speed of movement.
