#3104922 WR Stat Tracker

Posted by PantherFanOne on Today, 04:23 PM

KB > Smitty

Now, and definitly in future.

Kb woukd not have the opportunity for development with our QB like he has, #1 reps, no vet mentoring if smitty were here. Smith would make it about him and would avoid doing his best to mentor KB so he can still be the man. Money, future, development. The blind emotionally attacbed fan cannot see. Those who get the wide, big picture do understand

# Get those stats smitty. See you in canton

Bingo...There was reason Steve Smith  was released and it wasn't all about him lacking ability. I feel you covered it very throughly.

#3104427 As dumb as Mike Smith can be...

...at least he owns his mistakes.

Great to hear a coach admit to their mistakes instead of offering up lame excuses.

#3103170 Josh Norman: Munnerlyn Never Helped Me

Posted by PantherFanOne on Yesterday, 02:02 PM

Next week we get to see 6'6 Kelvin Benjamin on 4'3 Captain. I'd target him over and over and over and over until they start double teaming Kelvin. Then start throwing deep bombs to Philly.

This plan  makes to much sense,Shula will never go for it. :)

#3102254 @Minnesota... Superbowl run begins

Posted by PantherFanOne on 23 November 2014 - 07:58 PM

We win the Super Bowl and then Shula becomes the next coach of the Falcons. You heard it first.

If that's what it takes to get rid of him,Super Bowl, here we come. I hate to wish Shula on anyone but it couldn't happen to a nicer team than the Falcons :)

#3101863 I don't need this playoff berth

Posted by PantherFanOne on 23 November 2014 - 04:40 PM

Go be a Saints for Falcons fan then.  I don't care what deficiencies we have, I'll NEVER pull against my team.

If you are pulling for this train wreck, we call a team this year, to  sneak into the playoffs and go one and out, instead of wanting a top rated player in the draft that will help turn this team around, you are pulling against your team.

#3100420 Tom Coughlin revisited

Posted by PantherFanOne on 21 November 2014 - 09:45 PM

No thanks.  I want a hungry, young, creative offensive mind.  I know the offensive part will likely not happen but if we can get the other three we could be in business.

Those are my exact thoughts. I want young, fresh leaders at all personel levels, aggresive people, with active minds when relating to football matters. I want people that have the desire to excel and aren't afraid to gamble and try out new ideas.

#3099025 Says we need more speed at WR, then trys out slow receivers....

Posted by PantherFanOne on 20 November 2014 - 07:31 PM

Yes.  It is routine. And they are keeping with the routine no matter what.  I bet Shula's planning and strategery for this weekend's game is the same as last week.

I can see the following scene playing out.....Rivera > "Shula do you have a game plan for the Vikings game yet"?

Shula > "i sure do Ron, it's right here in the play book i use every week". Shula quickly opens the playbook, filled with nothing but blank pages..

Rivera > " That's strange Shula,it looks exactly like the playbook i use when i make decisions at the end of close games".

#3098748 Greg Olsen on first take tomorrow

Posted by PantherFanOne on 20 November 2014 - 03:03 PM

here's the vid

Thanks for the video replay "TheRumGone",I really enjoyed it. Greg Olsen was direct, well spoken and represented the Panthers very nicely.

Greg got his points across very well, did not side step the pointed questions thrown at him,one has to be proud he's a Carolina Panther.

#3098221 Cam's twitter was hacked because his password was "Camnewton1"

Posted by PantherFanOne on 20 November 2014 - 07:14 AM

Oh lawd. . .

Cam just needs to stay away from computers, they obviously are trouble for him.

Cam said he has learned from this mistake because hindsight is 50-50. :)

#3097779 Still in for Rivera~

Posted by PantherFanOne on 19 November 2014 - 07:48 PM

There is no doubting Ron Rivera was handed a team that was short on talent, however, situations like that really show what a HC is made of,good or bad..

Did I expect Rivera to take this team to the playoffs? Not really Did i expect him to have a winning season? Probably not. Did I expect him to have this team ready to play each week and be competive? Yes,but he didn't

Rivera not only failed to prepare the team for games,he also failed to make game time adjustments and went into a conservative shell when the game was on the line.He has stood by an let Shula,a proven inept OC, call plays and schemes that never work but they keep getting repeated regardless.

I could go on and on in my evaluation but the bottom line is,I think Rivera is probably a good DC but just not suited, or meant to be a top rated NFL HC..

#3097700 Greg Olsen on first take tomorrow

Posted by PantherFanOne on 19 November 2014 - 06:50 PM

Jason Avant was released after he told it like it was,I hope Olsen fakes it and avoids being truthful and brutally honest about Rivera and Shula's screwed up coaching,i would hate for him to  be sent packing.

#3097503 I don't think I've ever seen the fanbase against our HC coach this mu...

Posted by PantherFanOne on 19 November 2014 - 04:06 PM

I voted yes, but still think he can save his job if we win the division

Win the division? Win the division? You talking about wining the division? we will be lucky to win anther game. signed Jim Mora :)

#3096845 I don't think I've ever seen the fanbase against our HC coach this mu...

Posted by PantherFanOne on 19 November 2014 - 09:27 AM

With the hand he was dealt this year through a variety of circumstances: the Hardy debacle, unfilled personnel losses, injuries, CJ disappearance, regression of QB play (regardless of your excuse for it)...Ron Rivera deserves another year to right the ship.

And here's the best part: no matter how loudly the screamin' Mimi's on this board want him gone...

He's gonna get it.

If Rivera,to my regret, gets another year, it will not be because he deserves it but because Richardson will be to cheap to buy him out and have to pay another HC.

#3096603 proehl on philly

Black & Blue Review ‏@BlackBlueReview · 1m1 minute ago
Proehl before Avant news, on Philly: “I’m still trying to figure out why he wasn't drafted … does similar things Ginn did for us last year.”

A better question would be . "I'm still trying to figure out why it took so long for Rivera and the coaching staff to play Philly Brown more at WR."
