looked good out there today!   he made some big plays.  5 solo tackles and a sack.  not too bad.

you should have asked them to go ahead and call security.  security wouldnt boot you for standing up.

#2382943 What kind of head coach does this team need?

Posted by savage on 16 September 2013 - 02:45 PM

we need an offensive-minded genius.  our last two coaches have been laid back defensive guys and that is not working for us.

#2310635 So Armanti has earned a roster spot..

Armanti's catch was awesome today.  I am an Appstate grad, so I have some bias, but he is looking really sharp out there.  id love to see him have more minutes on the field this season because i think he has improved each year and this year he could really contribute.

#2278645 Talked to the Kracken today...

sounds like you bugged the hell out of him

not at all. he was more than happy to have a conversation with me.  i can tell when an athlete is annoyed , as ive dealt with many of them.  considering i was his waiter and he stayed for an hour, i wouldnt say a 2 minute conversation is bugging someone. especially for a guy who appreciates his fan base like him.  i really doubt many people even recognize him out in public.  no one else approached him while he was there and his more than generous tip also leads me to believe i did not offend him.

he came into the restaurant i work at.   i mentioned that i hope he doesnt leave the panthers next season and he said that there isnt anything to worry about.   i said i hope he gets his 50 sacks and he said he was going to try his best. i mentioned how i was excited about our additions to the d-line and  he said star is a beast and he also said he would sack brees for me. he is a genuinely friendly laid-back guy.

I stopped reading when "power running" was the first thing mentioned about his offensive philosiphy.

Yeah cause why would we want to actually use our 70 million dollar backfield?

#2063206 Cam Newton #1 Scrooge in the NFL

Whats a jew doing writing a christmas article to begin with?

#1969515 Brandon "Dat Deal" LaFell

I bet when he was hit he said :

"Oww wee mayne"

#1968455 Kuechly = better defense

Posted by savage on 28 October 2012 - 04:37 PM

On the positive side of today's loss the defense has improved drastically over the last couple weeks with Kuechly at mlb. he is a tackling machine and practically neutralized forte single-handedly after that first td. we have a new leader of this defense.

#1968386 Cam in a conventional offense still sucks

Posted by savage on 28 October 2012 - 04:26 PM

we went from running a read option offense through all of training camp and the first part of the season and then threw him into last years offense in one week. you expect him to be lights out all of a sudden? he put up 300 yards on one of the best secondaries in the league and put us in a position to win the game against a 5-1 team.

#1968038 trade newton or new head coach?

Posted by savage on 28 October 2012 - 03:42 PM

Newton just put up over 300 yards on one of the best secondaries in the league

#1951758 Likely a torn labrum for Gamble

Posted by savage on 19 October 2012 - 01:46 PM

Seems like this season has been snakebitten since the start

this is a re-occurring theme with this team. the falcons lost grimes for the season and arent having any problems. hurney is garbage. we could have not spent 80 million on running backs that we don't even use and picked up some corners and safeties in free agency.
