#3340866 Dex's final mock. (You're not gonna like it.)

I love it. Phenomenal. Just doubt it happens. Got three, and potentially four impact players with your first four picks, and a sleeper Tackle who is highly athletic.

Dumb!

By far better than Funchess.

If Philly is dumb enough to take Perriman at 20, then that'll open the door for Strong.

You would be a Strong fan....

A more complete receiver than Strong

Yea. They both are mediocre.

#3335756 Dorial Green-Beckham

Don't worry guys, we'll just skip over 2014 for you, no need to worry about the other outstanding receivers that have shown more than just one year's production.

DGB couldn't help that the NCAA is archaic. Hard to hold lack of play in 2014 against him.

This suggests you have no idea how pro scouts evaluate college talent.

This is just factually incorrect.

Not really. He's got the best skill set of any WR. By far. He also has the most baggage, which is why he will be Drafted much lower than his skill set warrants.

If we are going WR (excluding White, Cooper and Parker), it better be DORIAL or Agholor.

Maybe, Perriman. I can live with. And Funchess.

Don't like Smith or Strong enough at 25. And don't believe Dorsett is a 1st rounder.

Funchess? At 25?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

NT Grady Jarrett...

Will be gone by the time we pick in the third.

#3335620 Dorial Green-Beckham

Precisely why it'd be idiotic to take him in the first round. He hasn't produced enough to be a top pick AND his off-the-field issues are cause for concern.

When he's been on the field, he's produced. He's absolutely worth a top fifteen pick if you take the off the field out of it. Problem is, you can't.

Smith is awesome. Getting him at 57 would be $$$$, but I think they would need to move up to make it happen. I'm not really that high on Peat, but if he's the pick....alright.

#3328401 Carolina Panthers mock draft

Nope. no, nah....

Cedric I don't mind depending on how the board falls, but I would rather get an impact player on Defense over him at 25. Funchess sucks....he's not even as good as Kelvin Benjamin, and still has the same type of issues running routes, stretching the field, lack of lateral movement skills and his hands aren't nearly reliable enough. If we didn't already have Kelvin, sure. But we need a quality route runner with sure hands, who can stretch the field and get YAC. Funchess isn't any of those things. I would much rather move up in the second to get Devin Smith than have Funchess anywhere near this team.

#3326594 Top 10 2014/2015 WR prospects

Beckham was not a better prospect than Watkins. White isn't better than Cooper.

Yes, he was. Amazing that more people didn't see it.

#3323593 The Case for Agholor using Gettlelogic

Posted by C47 on 16 April 2015 - 02:57 PM

OBJ isn't really a good comparison IMO. Not as sudden or quick as Beck. OBJ created separation fairly naturally in the way he got in and out of breaks. There was no rounding off anything. He puts his foot in the ground and goes. Whether on a deep post, comeback, or an in. Beckham also has a set of ridiculous hands on him. He's just an athletic freak.

Not saying anything negative about Agholor, but OBJ is special.

He's a hybrid of Reggie Wayne and Jeremy Maclin, and that's a perfect compliment to KB.

#3323433 USC WR Nelson Agholor has private visit with Panthers today

Posted by C47 on 16 April 2015 - 12:27 PM

I could not possibly disagree more.

Completely understandable. I've seen almost every snap Strong has played, and he's just not a difference maker to me. I think Agholor can be if utilized correctly, and no....that's not a "USC" thing. That's a "taking his skill set and looking how it fits" thing.

#3323408 USC WR Nelson Agholor has private visit with Panthers today

Posted by C47 on 16 April 2015 - 12:05 PM

If we end up taking Nelson Agholor at #25 over Jaelen Strong, I'm going to throw an intense hissy fit.  Just fair warning.

Agholor is better, and a better compliment to KB. Strong is severely overrated on this board. Ball skills nowhere near what people claim them to be, can't separate, and plays small far too often.
