Sure if we can get him for like $4-5M/year then bring him back but there is an enormous need in the NFL for interior DL who can get to the passer. If he finishes with 8+ sacks which he is on pace for then I have hard time not seeing someone gamble and offer him a big money deal in the hope that he can continue that. The amount of available cap space projected for next year across the NFL is pretty staggering.
1.One shoulder injury...this isn't a oh he hurt it again.... it never healed or maybe he didnt sit out the two years like luck did. Same injury just takes a very long time to heal.
2. Daryl William's at left tackle in the preason was when the foot was injured. Like literally the first preason game probably the first drive. And it's a foot.. you cant get more fragile(unless you got whatever Olsen has going on) in your foot just like you cant build up more muscle to protect a foot. It was a more a coincidence and bad blocking than cam being more injury prone.
This whole thing is becoming absurd. The best things we can do as fans now is drop the drama. The more we play in to it the more the media will hound the team on it. That's not going to help anything. It's not going to stop escalating as long as we fight over it. Last night on WFNZ they were directly alluding to a thread topic here.
