This is so flawed b/c is doesn't take into consideration the teams teams that were good last year that will be putrid this year and vice versa. There's always a few teams that flip their performance every new season.

I mean..yeah.  But generally speaking teams dont make huge leaps in wins/losses.  If you look at the Patriots, they have Jets, Dolphins, Bills.  All teams that have been pretty bad for the last 15 years (outside of one year here and there).

Being a heavy mover in free agency almost never equates into suddenly winning a bunch of games.

Teams that lost major players last year (Steelers, Giants for example) aren't going to drop THAT much.  Steelers were just a 9 win team.  And not like the Giants could drop much more.

So while it may not be perfect and there will always be a few odd balls, its generally a good snap shot.  IMO.

Now watch schedule makers turn this into a brutal schedule and the Steelers and Pats have cake walk scheduling.

Panthers right in the middle of the pack.  We can neither cry with the excuse or take any poo from other teams about our opponents.  The sweet spot.

If the Pats replaced the Bucs in the NFC South they’d be lucky to have 2 SBs. What a joke.

That division guarantees a playoff bid every year.  Bill  B.  can rotate players, run  vanilla offenses, etc. and win 10 games.

The Power Rangers had the Putties,

The Harlem Globetrotters have the Boston Shamrocks.

The New England Patriots have the AFC East.

They beat the best of the NFC pretty regularly. Why would that make a difference?
