Not Going To Pretend To Be Sad That Ron Rivera Is Gone

Recommended Posts

Sorry, I'm not going to write a thread of how Ron was a great coach. Yall can keep that.

I'm glad the man is leaving. New era and new coach is coming.

His last game in Bank Of America stadium was losing to a 2-9 Redskins team. Pure Blasphemous

So with that said..Deuces

How could it be ANY worse than what we have gone thru the last 2 plus seasons?

I guess we will see won’t we? I’m not saying it was the right or wrong move, but either is on the table.

Ask Cleveland, Buffalo, Oakland, Washington, or Tampa

I haven't been this happy as a panther fan since the day before SB 50. Rivera ruined a generational talent. screw all the pansys who "wish him well" he is no longer a panther, he's the fuging enemy, I hope he goes to Dallas so the whole nation can see what a dumbass this guy is. he wont last 3 years no matter where he goes next, book it.

Dipshit posters who say "it could be worse" and "be careful of what u wish 4....." are the same people who say "fug it, lets all just go to Chili's, I don't care anymore"

How silly of me to hope for greatness instead of being complicit with mediocrity

Hope......it’s good to have, but in today’s NFL it is extremely hard to build a consistent winner and more clubs fail more often than not   I will say again, I have no idea if Ron’s firing is right or wrong for the future....but from life experiences I say be careful what you wish for, it’s not always what you think

    • If we start spending lots of money on free agents, my Dan Snyder 2.0 fears will officially be realized.
    • Every time Bernie is attacked by the establishment I give him an another donation along with my recurring monthly donations. Needless to say, he is getting multiple donations from me every month.
    • If they would have had the #5 pick then they could have had so many teams trying to trade up there for a QB. They'd be ahead of the Chargers and Dolphins who both need QB's. The Dolphins have 3 first round draft picks this year. That would have been such a good haul, potentially grabbing those picks had they won more games. They'd have to leapfrog several teams. Unfortunately at #7 both the chargers and the Dolphins don't need to move up. The only scenario i'd see is if they pick the QB's they need and the Dolphins pull the trigger on a OT to protect their QB, the Panthers would get the 18th and 26th, plus a lower round pick to move up to #7 if the draft board falls to where no OT was taken prior to the Panthers pick.      The thing is, that if the Panthers decide to stay with Cam, they need to protect his blind side and if the best OT is on the board, I don't think they would give up that pick for 2 first rounders. I wouldn't. Especially when it's the best tackle of the draft. I don't know.    IF they stay at the pick and Brown is available or Thomas...Take Thomas.
