  1. Against the 31st pass defense in the NFL while attempting 55+ attempts.
  2. To add even more Seattles defense was 31st in the NFL in pass defense coming into Sunday. With only 8 QB hits in their first 2 weeks combined including game vs the Rams They hit Andy Dalton 11 Times Sunday Panthers OL is on Pace to crush the most pressure given up in a season number by 47+ since PFF started recording it.

  4. Joe Burrow is making more than Bosa and Deebo Combined. Niners starting QB is making less than 1 mil a year and less than what we’re paying our Kicker Eddy P. And the Bengals will be paying Chase top 2 or so WR money which will be around 30+ once Jefferson sets the market here. So Burrow and Chase are expected to be making more combine than Purdy, Bosa, Deebo, Kittle, and Trent Williams combined
  5. Speaking of PFF https://x.com/pff_sam/status/1706417651772231727?s=46
  6. Isn’t a big principle of drafting a rookie QB is yes to develop him. But also afford you the cap flexibility to pay $$ at premium positions?
  7. So we’ll extend both Haynes And YGM, both who are set to hit FA at years end. Then use the 1st from Burns on a Edge or pay above market price for one of these guys? https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/edge//
  8. I love Luuvu and hope he is here pst this season. But I know of at least 1 sack he got last week was a direct result of Carr stepping up to avoid Burns and stepped right into Luuvu for the Sack. In addition, how many sacks do you see him to continue from that LB if Evero leaves and a new DC comes in? Is a new DC going to utilize him in those exotic blitzes?
  9. Are you signing them as intention as your 2 starters. I know YGM has had 1.5 games of looking good this year. But are you wanting a guy who was on the verge of being cut coming out of camp as your full time starter beyond this year on a smaller extension?
  10. Problem is out of all those guys you listed. only Johnson and Barno are under contract next season.
  11. I just know that they Want to keep both Chase and Higgins. And have even thrown around the idea of tagging Higgins to hold onto him. But most who cover the team expect him to be traded strictly due to $$. And yes. Scott should at least make a call. But just don’t see it happening knowing they are moving off a offensive weapon they want to keep because of $$ and the cap.
  12. So you get that 1st back and your edge/DE room consists of DJ Johnson and Barno. Are you using that 1st from Burns to draft a edge. Or draft a WR and get a couple of Marquis Haynes level guys as your starting edge rushers?
  13. And again. are the Bengals (a team that’s shopping Higgins because money and their cap situation after paying Burrow and Chase coming up). Are they going to want to pay for a edge rusher that’s made it known by now he wants 28-30 mil
  14. So essentially a bottom of rd 1 pick and a 3rd string RB. Wonder if Denver wishes they had Chubb right now over the 29th overall pick?
  15. I mean possibly, probably. The Rams package would’ve been great. And one of those things that won’t come back around. And 2. Paying him 23 mil range what Crosby makes back when teams were off peeing for him. Is a lot better than paying him 29-30 or getting a late 1st rd pick for him. so yes. Yes Fitty fugged up.
  16. So you tag him at years end. Then get forced into paying him around 29 mil a year. Another wrinkle to add. The market just got set by Bosa. And that’s how we got to this. Micah Parsons is Eligible for his extension this offseason. And I’m sure whenever he signs, it’ll be further north of Bosa. Resetting it once again.
  17. Not being obtuse. Just speaking reality of the situation. and this isn’t a NBA trade situation where you need matching salaries. Burns will be a FA at years end. So he will be dealt with the remaining portion of his rookie deal. Or a tag and trade, which the team receiving him will still have to deal with the big elephant in the room of him wanting 30 mil. We could take on a player of there’s with a big contract to help their cap situation. But what sense is that if your just trading him for that late 1st rd pick primarily to help open cap by not paying him.
  18. Yeah they did it. they did it to teams with a guy on a big deal already. Where they aren’t eating that whole big contract.
  19. So a non foundation piece avg edge rusher that’s seeking to be paid top 3 at his position is going to net a boat load of picks. and this isn’t like the CMC deal where your trading a guy on a big contract. That situation, the team trading him has to eat the money. The team trading for him will be the ones handcuffing themselves down to his new deal.
  20. Its always is good practice to draft a mid to late rd QB every other year or so. but this isn’t about that.
  21. Also how many picks you think your getting for him. I don’t see getting more than a late 1 for a guy in your words “isn’t a foundation piece” that is seeking to be paid more than Watt and Garrett
  22. So the plan is. Trade Burns for the late 1st. Then turn that pick around and take a edge rusher to save on cap space?
  23. Here you go https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/edge//
  24. Now question would the Bengals even offer that trade. considering The reason the Bengals are shopping him is due to $$ after they just paid Burrow and going to pay Chase So are they going to trade for a Edge rusher that is seeking 30 mil a year?
