  1. I thought Evero deserved a final look because of all the injuries we had last year but damn. I think back to when we had a 3-4 with Mills, Greene and Co. Our defense was nasty. Evero looks like he's playing prevent defense with a 20 point lead. Teams do whatever they want against us and he keeps a loyalty to veterans that makes Ron Rivera look great. Fire Evero immediately, bring back the 4-3 right now and get a headstart on next year.
  2. 30 to zip was an awesome sight to see and a W is a W but we could never stomp on the throat of our opponent offensively. Our defense gave us 12 points and our first drive was the only drive we scored a TD on that started on our side of the field. We had the opportunity add point at the end of the first half and to start the 2nd half. We did nothing with that opportunity and only thankful that Atlanta was out of timeouts or they could have cut the lead to 10-3. Canales/Young have to do better in these situations. Better teams will use that as an opportunity to get back in the game.
  3. To me, all the rookies need to be in the lineup. The chances of us being in the playoffs are slim and allowing the rookies to get valuable playing time over questionable veterans should be priority one. Dan Morgan has been getting some grief over picks we made, especially 2024 but I think many of his picks can turn out to be quality players, but they NEED TO PLAY.
  4. I believe I read before that Evero does not like starting younger players even if they are better than what is on the field. I felt Evero deserved another shot due to the multitude of injuries we had last year. Now I wish we hadn't given him another shot. We added so much talent to this defense he should have no excuses. It is literally the same defense as last year. No difference and he should be sent packing now. Bring Don Capers down from the front office.
  5. Signing Hooker was a good move. 1. He has all the tools 2. Very important Canales want to work with him. Good or bad at least we'll find out. 3. Plummer hasn't signed anywhere so if the experiment doesn't work out you can always resign Plummer. It's a practice squad move, let's see what he can do.
  6. If I remember correctly he had some insanely good games and then had some real poor ones. A very inconsistent QB. I believe he has all the tools maybe DC can put him in a position to be a solid backup. Dalton can't play forever.
  7. I saw Hooker play several years ago and thought he would be a good QB. Not that I am looking for a QB to replace Young but maybe Canales can QB whisper him into being a good backup.
  8. That's the same question I asked. WTF do we need another WR especially since we have to add him to the 53.
  9. So you think with the loss of AT, Moore is going to have a bigger role?
  10. Did Renfro have enough years to qualify? Could we resign him before the noon deadline?
  11. Coker made some plays that gives me hope that he can be that clutch receiver. It was a huge gamble if you ask me. You are depending on rookies and 2nd year players to step up. Moore's the only multi-year veteran and he's at the bottom of the pecking order.
  12. I thought it was 10am. I'm in Kuwait so I have to subtract 7 hours. You're saying two hours means 1pm?
  13. We're 8th in the pecking order? Basically, same order as the draft.
  14. That's better. So, I assume those players that have already been claimed were released before the deadline?
  15. I am a bit surprised that we have not made any moves to pick up anyone from other rosters. We are thin, at best, in a couple of positions, especially defense. I cannot remember the last time we dropped to 53 that we didn't make any moves.
  16. We're kind of WR deep. Anyone know which teams might be LB or Safety deep? A team we could be watching for a good player cut?
  17. Hendon Hooker released. He had some great games at Tennessee. I wouldn't mind kicking the tires as QB3
  18. If they want AT than they need to absorb his contract. We aren't looking to trade him, they are looking to trade for him.
  19. Horn has definitely been and up and down story during camp and preseason. You make several valid points but, I am not 100% sure they are ready to give up on a player they drafted. I do believe that if we cut him someone will add him to their 53 man roster. If he does clear waivers, I hope we sign him to the practice squad.
  20. Prayers for a speedy recovery.
  21. And made more clutch catches than anyone on our roster. Speed isn't everything. AT is wise and knows how to get open.
  22. It's not like we're trading a player that improves a WR room. He would be traded because he is going to fill a starting position. As someone said earlier Starter for a Starter. If it is not a starter than Morgan needs to be shrewd and take a 3rd, at minimum.
