At the consumer level LG and Samsung are pretty close in quality. The contrast ratio and refresh rates are more what you want to look if you really want to be discerning about picture quality

I work in professional AV. OLED is LG and QLED is Samsung. Either are fine consumer options. I wouldn't buy another brand of TV other than those two.

goaltending only became an issue in the last two games IMO. Raanta was just gassed. He was pretty lights out for awhile. Two back to back 7 games series for a backup with an untested rookie behind him, he gave it all he had. They just needed Anderson to come back faster. Honestly I am cool with Anderson and Kochetkov next season. Maybe the Hurricanes can buy low on Carter Hart from the Flyers if they give up on him for some extra depth and competition. Bottom line is they have to go out and get a couple pure goal scorers or they aren't gonna make it past the second round. Trocheck, Necas, Niederriter...those guys aren't closers. They are good players but they need someone to be an elite goal scorer. They need a perfection line like Boston has. I think Seth Jarvis can be a piece of that but they need more.

OL is the only unit on the team that is an obvious improvement from 2021. The secondary could improve with Wilks coaching them and Horn healthy too but I'm not confident enough to say it's definitely an improvement.

The difference is star power. Canes are well coached and maximize their talent but they just don't have enough to break through deep in the playoffs. They need to go sign a big time top scoring winger and add another sage veteran center. Unless Jarvis turns into a 40 goal scorer next season I don't expect a different result unless they swing for the fences while they have this core in place.

Why not? Hurricanes are a great situation for him. Two centers Trocheck & Domi are FA. Niederreiter too. Replace Niederreiter by throwing money at a top scoring winger like Johnny Gaudreau and get a vet center looking for a cup. This team needs more scoring firepower to contend.

The main thing this team is missing is closers. Big time goal scorers. Make a run at a 40 goal scorer FA like Johnny Gaudreau, and sign a vet looking for a cup like Claude Giroux. Build the team to make a run. The core is there. Fill it out with quality players to put them over the top.
