Might as well, there aren’t any positions on the roster outside of maybe Derrick Brown that are guaranteed this year

Training Camp for 7/30/2024 (first padded practice!)
hepcat replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
Moton is one of the few on the team that probably doesn't need practice reps this early in training camp. -
It's a chicken and egg thing. Is the offense bad because of the scheme/coaching or because of the players? When the offense was as bad as the 2023 Panthers, the answer was likely both. Good players can occasionally overcome bad coaching/scheme and vice versa good coaching/scheme can overcome bad players. The truth is, Frank Reich's offense was total garbage AND the offense was devoid of talent. No need to go backwards, 2024 is going to be bad too!

I’m more concerned about his lazy route running. If Adonai Mitchell pans out this is yet another flop in a long line of missed high draft picks
-
Might f*ck up the check he still gets from Tepper saying that tho

Who do they bench him for? Bryce is going to play the whole season. If he doesn’t show any promise by the end of the year then it will be clear if he’s the guy going forward or not. By end of year 2 we should be seeing some positive steps forward. I am not hopeful because I don’t think Bryce has the size or arm strength to be an NFL QB. I really hope the Panthers draft Quinn Ewers if Bryce bombs. With a few extra lbs on his frame he will be a very good NFL QB.

USA TODAY record projections. Panthers not last
hepcat replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Only way the Jets win the Super Bowl is if Aaron Rodgers makes a deal with whatever demon spirit Tom Brady did. -
The entire vibe for the team sucks now. I used to be so hyped for training camp to start, learn about the new players, see who was going to make an impact this season. And now it’s like I know this team is going to be garbage so I don’t care anymore.

https://defector.com/why-your-team-sucks-2024-carolina-panthers Usually these things are supposed to be hyperbole but in the case of the Panthers...I don't think it is. There isn’t. This is the worst franchise in the NFL. Jets fans look down on Panthers fans, and are right to. I’d rather get myself off with a lit stick of dynamite than watch this glorified UFL outfit. And my favorite quote: Welp have fun y'all!

I’m a hair over 6’ tall barefoot. I would love to meet Bryce just to have a reference to his true size.

I mean the issue isn't that Morgan said he had to go clear the trade with the owner, the issue is they didn't trade the player to the team that offered a QB level haul of picks.

So far I am loving the Odyssey. Great features and overall a well designed vehicle. So much easier to get kids in and out with the sliding doors, no banging the car doors next to you in tight parking lots, it's soooo comfortable. And best of all my wife is comfortable driving it. Maybe when the kids get older we'll get something like a Yukon or big SUV but for now the minivan is perfect.

It looks like a fan meeting an NFL player

Since when is Tom Brady a seasoned TV announcer. They bumped the guy with actual experienced for the guy they paid way too much money for

Alternate timeline Panthers owner’s daughter is doing well at Wimbledon
hepcat replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It would be difficult to do much worse than David Tepper has but I guess it’s possible. Navarro has a background in sports in general including football (his dad was a college football coach). Tepper’s dad was an accountant. -
Runner up potential Panthers owner Ben Navarro’s daughter is apparently a pro tennis player and she is a contender at Wimbledon this year. https://people.com/all-about-emma-navarro-parents-kelly-and-ben-navarro-8674624 The guy raised a pro athlete maybe he would have done a better job with the Panthers WHO KNOWS

Yea the prices and interest rates on vehicles right now are pretty crazy although the prices have gone down a little. We ended up buying a 2021 Odyssey EX-L with 44k miles over the weekend. 36k OTD. They put new tires on the van and it was fully inspected and serviced. It is a certified used Honda with 1 year remaining bumper to bumper warranty and 4 years powertrain warranty. I ended up buying a 4 yr dealer extended bumper to bumper warranty for an extra $2,400 which included 8 oil changes and tire rotations with no time cap. I'm not one to usually buy extended warranties but with the oil changes and tire rotations included I thought it was a pretty good deal, if literally anything breaks we're fully covered until 2029.

Went to a Kia dealer this afternoon with the intention of test driving a used 2020 Sienna they supposedly had, but it was already sold. So we peeked at the Carnivals while we were there, but I thought they were even uglier in person. I don't see the SUV in disguise, I saw an uglier bulkier looking minivan. Interiors are nice though, it felt more like the Odyssey interior. The minivan stock is really low right now, not trying to buy new but we might have to just to have some options.
