  1. watching Panthers Draft Lounge with J Stew and TD from a bar. Chef brings in some food, and TD says no pretzels for Stew. Stew: "they give me gas."
  2. I ordered one online earlier, and the manager called and said, we only have 1 driver, we can bring you your pizza in two hours, or I can cancel. So I got a gyro from my local greek joint.
  3. just read teams are expecting a run on tackles in late first, so much so that it's affecting some teams decisions in the first....which does not bode well for us if we don't get a tackle in the first.
  4. Jim Nagy @JimNagy_SB · 10h Draft day is kinda like Christmas morning but you can’t open your presents until 8 pm. Easily the longest day of the year.
  5. Natalie Miller @Nat_NFLDraft · 1m Dallas hoping to nab Horn at 10. Have him ranked over Surtain.
  6. rumbles of them loving Farley. Would be the best thing for us...we get Sewell or Horn, and they lose picks.
  7. Hornets gettin blown out by the Celtics worse than they blew out the Celtics a few days ago. Brown had 20 in the first quarter...on pace for 80.
  8. Dale Arnold @DaleEArnold · 42m What I’ve been told, by a reliable source —- @Patriots are working on a new contract for Jimmy G that could lead to a deal with @49ers. Same source who correctly told me Tom Brady had signed with @Buccaneers. Doesn’t mean it will get done, but they’re working on it. I didn't want to trade back that far anyway.
  9. StatMuse @statmuse · 8h Miles Bridges last 11 games: 20.7 PPG 7.9 RPG 52.1 FG% 45.2 3P%
  10. don't forget, say 6 rookies this year, and 6 more next year will make the roster, giving us 12 more contracts that don't count much. So 42 players after the draft next year, and only 9 more needed to get to 51.
  11. according to Over The Cap, which has already updated after the Bridgewater trade. Right now, $15,155,971 for this year. Next year...$87,933,462 Team Cap Space Effective Cap Space # Active Cap Spending Dead Money Colts $103,889,215 $85,559,215 25 $99,110,785 $0 Steelers $90,465,902 $74,250,902 28 $112,534,098 $0 Panthers $87,933,462 $73,128,462 30 $109,733,204 $5,333,334 Ravens $81,748,180 $66,238,180 29 $121,251,820 $0 Jets $73,048,977 $62,473,977 36 $129,951,023 $0 https://overthecap.com/salary-cap-space/
  12. it's a pretty big gamble. We may find ourselves missing out on a true impact player.
  13. Farley won't be attending the draft after all...he just tested positive for the rona. That dude seems cursed. Meanwhile.. Joe Rexrode @joerexrode · Apr 27 Per @CharlesRobinson on Caleb Farley, says he's hearing Saints might move up to get him. And that Saints feel they may need to move ahead of Titans to get it done.
  14. well, Miles came to play. He is really turning into something.
  15. Get Up @GetUpESPN · 1h .@diannaESPN thinks the Patriots could deal Stephon Gilmore in order to move into the top 10 of the NFL draft. "I did speak to a team in the top 10 who told me that they've had calls with New England." Natalie Miller @Nat_NFLDraft · 34m I could see a first round swap between Carolina and NE for Gilmore.
  16. If they make a trade, they'll have to do it after June 1. Before June 1, a trade would leave 23 million in dead money this year along, to go along with a cap loss this year of $200,000. Then there will be 23 million in dead money over the next two years. Post June, they'll get 15 million in cap space with 7 million dead, 14 million move over the next two years, and 23 million more in cap space. I don't think they are allowed to trade him before the draft this year, and designate him as a post June 1 trade, but I could be wrong.
  17. He lives in a van, down by the river.
  18. after the pc last week, I feel CB is very much on our mind in the first. I think Surtain and Horn are the targets, and one of the two could be there at 15. It's a gamble. I'd take Newsome in the late first, and would move up to get him if we get enough capital in the trade and get a LT at 15. I wouldn't be surprise if Parsons wasn't even on our board but I haven't heard that.
  19. We have 16 players with first round grades. Trading with NE (15) guarantees us one of them. Trading with WFT (19), we could get lucky and still get one. If only 2 of the 5 QBs in draft are on list, and 5 get taken there is a decent chance one of our guys could fall to 19. But because of the risk involved, I'd want a hell of a lot from the WFT in that trade.
  20. At The Hive @At_The_Hive · 26m The Charlotte Hornets have won a nationally televised basketball game! 125-104 final. Wire-to-wire domination for the Bugs tonight, no fight at all from Boston. Devonte': 24/9/2, 6-11 3P Miles: 20/6/3, 4-8 3P PJ: 22/12/5, 4-6 3P Rozier: 21/11/5, 5-9 3P At The Hive @At_The_Hive · 1h It can't be overstated how much more confident Miles looks when taking/making pull-up jumpers. That's a real ceiling-raising development for him
  21. blowout! 4 Hornets score 20 points.
  22. wow! Miles hit a miracle to end the 3rd! bout a 35 footer!
  23. well it's been fun so far...up by 14 much of the first half. Hold that lead for 3 mins into the locker room.
  24. when we get Teddy off the team, we'll get at least 8 million in cap space this year, with a chance for a good bit more. Depends on the deal.
  25. love this team...so unselfish. You'd think that backups would come into the game wanting to shoot and make noise, but this team plays together. A lot to pull for here...as opposed to "assembled superstar" teams.
