  1. I lived in downtown Philly back in the day, and I had the experience of seeing Harold Carmichael and Roman Gabriel at Veteran's Stadium. I'll be rooting for Hurts and the Eagles, but if Mahomes and company find a way to win, I'll tip my hat to them once again.
  2. Sorry about your granddad not being able to see them finally win it. That really really sucks.
  3. Some poo smells worse than other poo, but it's all poo. I'm not surprised at its politicians, and I'm not surprised that any good ol' boy like Favre would exploit the situation. Mississippi is really a rotten state in general.
  4. Don't believe the Huddle masses. He'd be an enigma just like last year. He'd probably be right there in the second tier which is basically Levis. He'd be ahead of the bigger project AR. In this draft, everyone else is basically day 3. Hooker isn't even in the conversation as a legit starter. Do yourself a favor and just look at some draft profiles. Also, remember that for a few weeks, Corral was in the conversation for the Heisman. He was the leader for probably two or three weeks, and then injuries struck. You can't say that about anyone but Young or Stroud in this draft.
  5. Chud was our best OC as far as I'm concerned.
  6. I gotta wait to see what Reich does first. I suspect that he's closer to John and Ron than Shanahan, but I hope that he proves me wrong.
  7. The epitome of cherry picking: Throw out certain passes, and throw out a couple of games, then make it look all nice and proclaim what's akin to a lie. Way to go!
  8. Shaq is fine as long as he takes a pay cut. Otherwise, it's business not hate.
  9. Those are some terrible takes. Let me help y'all out. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/2023/1/13/23550243/daniel-jones-new-york-giants-nfl-playoffs-vikings-daboll-kafka https://www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/analysis/daniel-jones-breakout-playoffs-future-daboll-giants/ Jones, much like any QB, needed to be put into situations to succeed, and that's what good coaching does. Moreover, most QBs really don't even reach their prime during a rookie contract. You can't even begin to credibly judge a QB's potential and place in the NFL before you see them under good coaching peppered with a degree of patience.
  10. See? Fangio ain't Evero. When you have as much life experience as I have, you get good at reading tea leaves.
  11. Fangio is old, comfortable and has already made his fortune.
  12. All it takes is Tepper's willingness and money to facilitate a stronger interest than working with his buddy. Let's watch it unfold.

  14. What manner of enchantment is this? I have been here probably since 2003 and have never seen a post like this.
  15. Yeah, I'm kinda surprised that we haven't talked to Flores.
  16. There's also a chance that he proves it incorrect. Nagy? LOL
  17. What part did you miss where Andy Reid said that Bienemy does call the plays? Bienemy has had off-the-field stuff and may simply be a bad interviewer or an asshole in some kind of way. We already know that he's been a good play caller, if not play designer.
  18. I didn't say it "proves" anything, but at least there is plenty of evidence that he can do the job since he has been doing it according to one of the best coaches in the game.
  19. Yeah, that "doesnt really mean anything." Reid is just lying.
  20. I think Reid is a Super coach, definitely top 2 or 3 in the game. Even he says that Bienemy literally calls the plays. I just don't get why people don't want to give the man credit. Reid backs him---of course---but that's good enough for me.
  21. True. But I'd rather have Bienemy than Reich calling plays, that's for sure.
