Only difference is they have a ton of skill players for Purdy to throw to and an all world rb and a great oline and a really good if not great defense. Maybe tepper will learn like York but San Fran didn't really start trying to address qb until that team was STACKED. we're at least 3 years away from being competitive which sucks because we were also 3 years away in 2020

I'd vote like it. It's a chance we have to take based on the current state of the Francise. If it's a home run then fantastic. If he and Bryce suck then we can try again next offseason with new gm, coach and qb in a much better spot. This year should be all about shedding bad money to open up things for the next few years.

Seems like the best defensive coaches are smart former linebackers. If only we had one of those lying around. Luke would be an amazing head coach I think. He'd burn himself out in about 3 years though. That's what we've been missing on this team since he and Davis retired as well. I linebacker to bring that attitude and leadership. Shaq was never going to be that. Mills, Morgan, Beason, Davis, Luke. We've always had that leader and it's severely lacking right now
