  1. Been a fan since 95. Used to be a big Steve Smith fan but couldn't stand his actions. I've liked him less and less as years went on and couldn't wait till he retired. I never thought he'd be cut, but imagine us having ZERO receiving options and STILL giving this quality (on the field) player the axe. That's how big of a problem his attitude was. (Is)
  2. Still acting like a complete assclown, even at 36. Go get em you giant douche bag!
  3. I hope for a 6 week suspension for Brady and a permaban for CarolinaCoolin.
  4. Hardy didn't get 10 games for not cooperating with the investigation. Also, domestic violence doesn't equate to releasing air out of a football. I hope Brady gets 10 games as well, but to use Hardy's situation as a measurement would be inaccurate.
  5. They still have him next year and can just tag him the year after. That's plenty of time to come to terms. Oops. Forgot he doesn't have a fifth year option.
  6. You have a right to be pissed. I'm pissed as well. I loathe that " win at any cost" mentality. They have no morals, no pride, its only about winning. My lol comment was more towards people not looking at this objectively and thinking people on the pat's staff will receive some serious ass pounding of a consequence. It won't happen. I wish it would, but it wont.
  7. LOL at all the Pats rage in here. I hate them too, but can we be realistic? They aren't going to get any lifetime bans or even suspensions. They will lose a mid to late round draft pick and that will be the end of it.
  8. People are missing some facts and simple logoc here. 1. No team is going to pay more for the guy. All teams will pay the exact same, which is roughly $500k per year for 3 years. 2. We don't have a 1/32 chance. This isn't roulette. Different teams have different factors involved that will help them or hurt them. Do they need a LT? Could he potentially start day 1? Is the team rising as a whole? Is it a warm climate like Miami with no income taxes? Are there former teammates and friends on the roster? We don't know how high he holds each factor but one could assume that being a starting left tackle is priority in order for him to get that big payday after A few years.
  9. You do realize he's literally cheaper than any other lineman on our team? He will cost peanuts.
  10. Maximum salary is $390,000. Guaranteed amount is $68,000, and max signing bonus is $75,000. Read up more here: http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2012/5/4/2998379/dallas-cowboys-undrafted-free-agents-how-much-will-they-get-paid This is why I stated two more years added won't be the way he would go. Additional $136,000 guaranteed, or play to make somewhere in the millions, perhaps 10's of millions?
  11. Serious question. Do you think you can do a better job as the Panther's GM?
  12. He's going to get the guaranteed max, regardless of which team he goes to. As far as the bust rate, it's a gamble he's going to have to make but I would certainly bank on him taking the gamble as the cost is greatly outweighed by the reward.
  13. Why would he want that? He will play his 3 years at max payout (which is peanuts) and then hope for a longer, bigger payday for his efforts.
  14. I think with Fumchess' hybrid role, we could keep one less TE and roll with 7 recievers. Not likely, but prolly not entirely out of the question. I certainly don't see 5 this year though.
  15. He is going to be signed to a three year "prove it" deal. The only way he can get the big contract he wants is to prove it, by starting. He has a significantly lower chance of starting in NO or DAL than he does here. Those two destinations are probably not high on his list at all.
  16. There has to be zero chance we font have the most improved special teams. I hope.
  17. He had trouble getting seperation, but he had great hands and made it happen to move the chains on several occasions. I'd like to see him at the bottom of the depth chart, but if there's someone better, so be it. Wasn't he also a very good blocker?
  18. Nah, he's got a shot. Some people here have the memory of a goldfish. He was loved by all and had some great clutch moments for us before he was asked to return punts and became hated by all. Not saying he makes it for sure, but he's got youth on his side , which cotchery doesnt. I think a lot of it will depend on if a speedster makes the roster, such as hill or Byrd, and if Boykin is replaceable now that we have another receiver over 6'4.
  19. Have to think we'd be a targeted landing spot. He has to be a starter almost right away to ensure a big payday after 3 years. This means he's going to want to go to a team that has a desperate need for a LT. Furthermore, one would assume he's going to want a LT needy team that doesn't have many holes, that is missing only a few pieces to going all the way, to keep him in the spotlight and help him shine. Finally, he'd be playing next to a friend, Turner. Is there a better team that fits the bill than us?
  20. I had him mocked to us in the fourth or fifth. He's one of the top rated UDFA's. I'm not thrilled the Falcons seem to be doing so well this draft.
  21. I can't wait to see him in preseason. Running full burst and having the safeties scrambling.
  22. There's another CB Kevin White that I'm thinking of?
  23. What the fuging fug. fug.
