  1. Horn may be talented, but he is far from disciplined. Do we choose to forget how bad Horn gets burned. Puka took advantage of Horns weakness that he choose not to improve. That talent wears off with the years and it won't cover his faults up for long. I would much rather have 2 Mike Jacksons and 1 Micah Parsons over 1 Mike Jackson and 1 Jaycee Horn. I'd trade Jaycee Horn for 1 Mike Jackson or Donte Jackson and a top 10 pick. Mike Jackson, Donte Jackson and Micah Parsons or Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn? Here's a better one.... Mac Jones, Tyler Shough, Jahmyr Gibbs, Chase Brown, TMac, Garrett Wilson, DJ Moore, Ladd McConkey, Brock Bowers, Zack Tom, Caelan Carson or Jaycee Horn, Ikem Ekwonu, Matt Corral, Bryce Young, Jonathon Brooks, Tmac That's how bad it's been
  2. Tepper put many shackles on Dave. I am sure it is in his contract he has full control over play calling and the WRs. That's why you see XL getting featured less (3 targets if he is lucky). I am sure he would have benched Bryce longer and brought in a new QB while reducing Chuba's role even more if he could.
  3. I wanted Ladd McConkey. We Got XL. I wanted Blake Corum. We got Jonathon Brooks. I wanted Payton Wilson. We got Trevin Wallace. I wanted Luke McCaffrey. We got Ja'Tavion Sanders. I wanted Caelan Carson. We got Chau Smith-Wade. With all the wasted trades for our 2024 picks, we could have added Malik Mustapha too. I know I am not the only one
  4. It's not like Evero's Denver resume didn't warn us. This was Tepper wanting Capers and Capers only agreeing to it if he was able to let his protege call the plays on the field. Did we all not learn it was Vic Fangio who was the defensive genius behind Capers? 3 years of Evero was more than enough. He should have never gotten beyond year 1, but people just keep making excuses because of defensive talent. The DC still has to put his players in a position to make plays.
  5. Evero and Bryce have been shackles on Canales and Reich. Tepper hires coaches to make his choices look good instead of letting a HC/GM partnership align the team to make their system and philosophy work. If Canales can win a division and compete with the best in the NFC, imagine what he can do if he gets the players he wants, the DC he wants and especially the QB room he wants. The only thing Canales has control of is offense and receivers.
  6. Will Tepper learn anything from seeing how he built the NFC powers while tearing down his own house?
  7. I am still out on Canales with his overall game planning, but I know he keeps bailing that offense out in close games when they are on the verge of imploding with just fundamental play calling and game management. I do know Canales being shackled with Evero and Bryce continues to muddy the picture on Canales. Is he a good head coach? He's a good OC. He knows how to get receivers open as well as player development. I just can't get a clear picture with how bad Evero is and how inconsistent Bryce is. He is forcing that trust in those two and bailing them out in several games this season. Evero and Bryce need to go. Will Tepper approve? Canales seems like he can win playoff games, but can he build a champion? We will never know until the team is turned over to him.
  8. I went back to check and I saw what Greg Olsen saw. Bryce had open receivers in the middle of the field on quick throws on all 4 plays against a prevent. There was huge chunks of the field open. He even had the 2 receivers open that he missed badly on late throws. All 22 will tell more. He should have had that ball out of his hands under 2 seconds with what the defense gave him
  9. That was a prevent. What defender was in man? They were in a deep umbrella guarding the sideline and running with defenders who came across their zone
  10. You think he called for the QB to scramble out of the pocket when there was a one on one over the middle deep on the field. Young's primary. Did he call a play for the QB to throw a late jump pass deep to the sideline from the pocket? You think any OC is calling that? Did he call for the QB to tip toe up in the pocket and javelin a ball into the ground with a wr who got open on the play call? The plays were there. Bryce couldn't deliver on that last drive The Rams were playing a PREVENT defense guarding the sideline. The plays were there crossing the field. The plays were there against a Rams prevent defense. So, why couldn't Bryce find the openings and deliver against a prevent? Stafford, Darnold, and Baker could have all delivered on those play calls against a prevent. Let that sink in
  11. well you are coming with attacks now? Just have an opinion on Bryce and what he did. Don't just blindly defend him with insults. I haven't even looked at his rating. Likely in the 60s to 70s is my guess. Want to go check it and let me know
  12. Go check the ALL 22 later and tell me his decision not to throw the ball to the sideline and scramble to waste 8 seconds, or his jump pass from the pocket downfield to the sideline, or his tip toe move up in to the pocket to rock forward off his front toe for a pass in the grass was good mechanics
  13. Bryce had an awful game. He needed Canales in his ear and opening up the playbook to move the ball. Excellent game managing point guard Bryce is not
  14. Canales never chose them. He's been battling to win around them all season. Just like this playoff game. He's not the one who will have any say over his DC or QB
  15. Evero lost this. Didn't even put his players in a position to win since they had the first lead in 4Q
  16. We always knew Evero and Bryce were the weakness. This game proves it. Canales needed to fight both of them to have a shot to win
