PJ is playing good ball. Should have played over San earlier.
-
Hope he gets destroyed every game he plays. Arrogant trash.

Do you think we have a realistic shot after a loss tomorrow?

If Kyler Murray is out tomorrow we have a real shot at winning -
This Cam for me right now.
-
I really want to see Cam run the offense as it is currently designed. We have seen it for weeks now where there were plays to be made if Sam could just connect.
-
It was almost like he read the forum and saw the thread about the chant being gone
-
Yeah he’ll need some designed runs. But I also don’t want to see us running him like we used to. I’d really like see how Cam does playing within our system. Hes a smarter QB than Darnold. If he can the open guys Sams been missing then we will already be drastically improved.

I'd actually be curious to see just how much his shoulder has improved 2-3 years from surgery. I'm not expecting his old rocket launcher. But he may have more juice than we think.

I mean IF we’re getting the band back together…. What about

He's lost a lot of muscle and do doubt some burst. I doubt he could get all that back and still be as fast as he was. His bodied was tailored made to play that position. Not to mention the concussion threat. -
Is there a chance they gave Cam the playbook when they started talking earlier this week?

Fitterer says " We'll have to do something with Sam. "

We won’t get anything for Sam in a trade. Best thing might be to let him sit behind Cam and see if he can learn a thing or two. -
Carolina Panthers agree to terms with Cam Newton.

Just stole this from another forum -
Maybe a sprinkle of it but I dont think its necessary. Let's see what Cam can do in the current offense.
-
I respect him for bringing Cam back and that he makes sure this FO is active and trying to get better. He does seem a little temperamental though.

Because the fumble was a nothing burger. He tried to change his direction with the ball. He's 6'5. He couldn't just fall on the ball. Secondly it was one play. How come you don't consider Delhomme's 5 INT game not equally as selfish? Clearly he could have pulled himself from the game. Clearly he didn't care about forcing throws. That game was bullsht anyway. You can't deny that Cam was headhunted the entire game. That Cotchery made the catch. That Denver was offsides on our two missed FG's. Any of those plays going the other way would have changed the game. -
But Joe Brady is still the offensive coordinator
OneBadCat replied to ENCPantherfan2's topic in Carolina Panthers
We really don't need to Cam to be all zone read though. That's where we got into trouble in the first place. I'd like to see Cam simply take over Darnolds responsibility and see how much better the offense can run. -
I'm ecstatic to have Cam back. He should have never been cut and he deserved a lot better from this franchise. I really hope it works out. Cam could be really good with these weapons.

I think Tepper made the move out of inexperience. Rhule could have gone either way it sounded like. Marty Hurney wanted to move on from Cam. Joe Brady was a Bridgewater cuck so he wanted his guy. Sounds like it was an all around mistake to me. -

Hope he balls out and we lock him up for 3 years. -

As much as I'd like to see it, it would be a bad PR move. Plus its no guarantee that Luke should get back to where he was. He's lost a lot of muscle. -
I do wonder though. What are the odds that Cam could make Darnold a better QB? Sam is clearly a dude that lacks confidence.
