They’re going after Milton and a safety Milton is getting 20+ per year and any safety we get will be 15-20 a year The Pats are probably going to throw the bank at Milton. People freaking out about the DK contract… this FA class is very poor and guys are going to get overpaid big time

Huge missed opportunity This offense was in dire need of a WR1. DK is a true WR1 and would’ve opened up a lot of things for others Another year of the worst graded WR group in the league

And I believe that’s the hold up right now

No issue with bringing him back. The FA TE pool is garbage. I was thinking Mark Andrews would get released but doesn’t seem like that’s going to happen our WR/TE group is in dire need of a top guy in each group that we currently don’t have on our roster At the very least we need either a true WR1 or TE1 this offseason

I’ll never understand the crowd that says “we would have to give up too much” A 2nd rounder is too much? We’ve spent 2nd rounders on TMJ, Mingo and a 1st rounder on XL trying to find a guy that’s like DK. Given this organizations inability to draft WR’s they need to trade for one

Agreed I’m also really hoping we’re not the team that overpays Josh Sweat I’d much rather trade for Hendrickson. They’re going to hand out a massive deal to a defensive lineman it might as well be a top tier player like Trey

I expect them to go hard after Milton Williams and a safety (probably Holland). Those will be their two big splashes Osa just got paid 4/80. Milton will cost more and Holland looking for 15-20 per Holland is a scheme dependant safety. So if this goes south with Evero then what? We’re tied to a grossly overpaid safety in Holland for a couple seasons. I prefer Moehrig or Reid Rather give up the draft picks and pay really good players in Hendrickson and/or Metcalf. I’ve seen this organization piss away countless 2nd and 3rd rounders over the years.

I’d rather spend on Milton Williams than DJ Jones Milton + Jalon Walker or an edge (Pearce/Green) and all of a sudden our DL is pretty solid with DB coming back

Mike Green and I like really like Walter Nolan as well I understand everyone wants to trade down if you think you can get someone 6-8 picks later and collect another pick and thats great but we’re so devoid of talent that I don’t care about getting cute. Draft good football players and don’t get caught up on where you take them. If you end up drafting solid contributors no one cares where you drafted them. This draft is so important for us. We can’t miss on prospects. So if you love Mike Green and he turns out to be who you think he is then 8 is not too high Most couldn’t believe the Lions took Gibbs so high 2 years ago. I’m sure no one is complaining about that now

We really need to hope for both Ward and Sanders to go top 7. I think there’s a chance only Ward goes I also hope McMillan goes top 7 but there will be better players on the defensive side of the ball available Carter, Walker, Graham, Johnson and Hunter probably all off board by 8 Pearce is probably next man up. If Evero gets his way it will be Starks
