Brown’s 5th year option has already been picked up. But yeah, Burns will get the tag and Luvu will be the wildcard

McCord is ass

It’s been like this all year Like I’ve said, give Bryce league average speed at WR and we’d have something good right now. Bryce is getting the most out of what he has now and that’s basically all we can ask. His pocket awareness, accuracy, anticipation is really showing up now. My only hope is that this situation doesn’t break him before it can get better. Baffles me they chose to sit on their hands yesterday and are fine with this sh!t show continuing

Wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve called Cincy and asked them if they want Hurst back -
Trade Burns for Jaylon Johnson and some picks
*FreeFua* replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree and obviously they’re not trading DJ but I’m not trading any valuable asset that doesn’t directly help Bryce. A few of us have gone through the list of realistic trade options for WR and it’s slim but unless someone offers me a couple of 1’s I’d rather hang onto Burns instead of trading for a corner. I really don’t feel comfortable stock piling draft picks as long as Fitterer and co. are here either. So I believe it’s truly crucial that any asset we have goes to directly helping Bryce. What exactly does trading Burns for Johnson accomplish from a defensive standpoint? The drop off from Burns to the next guy is a lot worse than the upgrade Johnson would be at corner for us -

If we’re trading Burns to Chicago I’d take DJ Moore back along with our 2nd rounder next year before Johnson Burns or Brown should’ve been sent over in the first place considering we were trading up to take a QB I’m all for trying to surround Bryce with competent pieces at this point. There’s enough film out there now to conclude what he’s currently working with is literal garbage. This organization did a dog sh!t job building around Cam and they’re well on their way to doing it again with Bryce -

Huh? I want to trace Burns for a player that directly helps Bryce I’ve been in the trade Burns camp since day 1 but not for a Damn corner. That’s Scott Fitterer level stupid -

Ah yes draft picks… we sure seem to use those well. -

Good lord this might be the worst idea I’ve seen to date Yes let’s use our only real trade chip to get a corner… that’ll help Bryce -
Why Trading Burns is the Only Path to Getting a #1 WR in 2024

I agree. I was honestly shocked to see the Giants get a 2nd for a rental in Williams I thought the days of teams trading away anything more than a 4th for a rental were over -

Need Jamo who already struggles to get snaps to stink it up tonight. That drop helps -

Yep this is the one I’d love to see happen I’d first ask Bryce for his opinion of Jameson and if Bryce wanted him I’d pull trigger in a heartbeat -
Did people really need this cleared up? It was painfully obvious Miles had no clue what was going on per usual

I’m convinced that with above average WRs Young can be VERY good

The Bears would’ve accepted Brown, Burns or DJ. -

I was going to post the same thing earlier but say just average wide receivers. It’s impressive how Young has been able to consistently improve each week while the pieces around him have stayed consistently bad. Outside of Thielen who is essentially a crafty slot receiver these days, Bryce Young has nobody. You look at separation numbers and each week they’re all below league average. Yet Bryce is still completing passes at a high rate due to incredible accuracy and anticipation. The ball to Mingo on the final drive was a perfectly placed ball, high and outside. Whoever made the final decision to ship of DJ instead of Brown or Burns should be fired. They absolutely need to go out before the deadline and get Young some help -
Not sure how you can give anything other than an F to Sanders, Hurst and Chark

They absolutely need to do something in order to help Bryce. I truly dgaf who they trade from the defense if it means helping Bryce out on the offensive side of the ball. What he’s working with right now is criminal. The last few weeks Bryce has proved a lot while doing so with below average talent. 6 games into a career. Please get this kid some damn help -
I truly wonder why some of you guys are even here

Also… both QB’s are just fine. Neither are the problem on their teams
-
Bryce showed why he was taken 1st overall today. People can bitch and moan about 15 points all they want but when your OL is literally ass, your WR’s can’t catch a cold and your run game often went backwards it’s amazing what Bryce was able to do

Fine Bryce and the defense
