If Canales had this team showing signs of progress being made then I’d be all for giving him more time but he’s not This is the exact same team/crap we saw for the bulk of last year. The floor for me this season was 6-7 wins. There needs to be improvement of some sort. 6 wins while being competitive I probably could’ve lived with but we’re not even that. Our 3 losses have been blow outs. I left at halftime in Arizona so is that late comeback considered us being competitive? Either way our 3 losses have been fu*king UGLY. There’s been no signs of life which is why I believe both Dan and Dave need to go asap So many Tepper can convince the next guy he’ll have a longer leash if he’s capable of showing that there’s progress being made year to year

I’ve never been high on Allar. But he’ll get drafted high due to traits alone. Big kid big arm Mateer was my #1 guy to watch coming into this season. I would watch Washington St because of Cam Ward and once he left I kept watching for Mateer. Loose/live arm. Not a throw he can’t make I haven’t watched much Nussmeier this year. I honestly think he would’ve gone high had he entered the draft. I assume he’ll still go high this next year If we do end up drafting a QB in the first it better be because we have a new GM and HC

Honestly probably has more to do with how I feel about this organization than Bryce himself I was a Stroud guy pre draft. Who btw before yesterday had a 19/15 td:int ratio after his famous post game talk to Caleb. Slowik was scheming dudes wide open Stroud’s rookie year. Coaching matters so much We’re seeing that more than ever now with guys like Darnold, Baker and maybe even Daniel Jones (who I thought was crap and probably still is). I was a big fan of Baker pre draft and a fan of the trade. This organization had this dude looking CFL caliber-esque. I just look at the big picture with this organization/roster and I truly feel no QB could make it work. Maybe Lamar because he can run. I am a big Cam Ward guy and that roster/coaching situation in Nashville is god awful as well and he’s struggling but of course he’s going to. This fan base was spoiled with Cam. He was a generational talent that kept guys employed that eventually held us back as a whole Look at our WR and TE room. It’s embarrassing and it’s been this way all 3 years of Young’s career. Young is only 24 and imo he’s way too smart to completely write off just yet. Sure there are physical limitations, it’s why I didn’t want to draft him but there’s just no way he’s honestly as bad as this organization makes him look Can both things be true? Can this organization suck and so can Young? Yes. But as a betting man, I’m betting this has a lot more to do with this organization than it does Young. History says so

I don’t have any emotional attachment to Young. If he goes then so be it. Do I think he’ll eventually get a fair shake somewhere and prove he can play? Yes but it’s obvious it won’t be here so whatever. Ultimately until we get the GM/HC thing right nothing else matters. Literally nothing else and right now we’re a mess in that department Dan and Dave aren’t it. We’re honestly lucky we have our 1st round pick right now. Had GB asked for someone like A’shawn, Parsons would be a Panthers and we’d be out 2 1st rounders

Just saying we have 2 first round WR’s doesn’t mean much. Having Xavier Legette does literally nothing. Where were those 2nd and 3rd round edge rushers yesterday? Maye was kept clean all afternoon Wharton was the most obvious panic move when it happened Our 100 million dollar guard is out for the year To add to all of this we have a head coach that doesn’t belong. Not only do we lack talent but our coach gets out coached weekly. Liam Coen has Jax 3-1. New GM, new HC and they’re off to a great start. Coaching matters. We don’t have that here

You’re assuming Morgan is smart? Morgan was team Bryce during draft process Morgan sat next to Fitterer and watched him burn a 2nd rounder on Mingo. Watched him get fired. Then Morgan went and used a 1st rounder on Xavier f’n Legette Morgan has spent a 2nd rounder and a 4th rounder on running backs Our DL has generated zero pressure all season. Still can’t stop run. He panicked and overpaid for Wharton. His solution to fixing OL was to throw big money at 2 guards. One who is out for the year now. Our OL was a disaster yesterday And lastly, he decided to hire his buddy to be the head coach. A guy who had zero interviews elsewhere

I’ve been begging for them to sign a legit backup for years. preferably a QB that can run to make up for the lack of talent on offense But this roster as a whole is f*cking awful. I’d say it’s us, Saints and Patriots bottom 3 teams in terms of talent and the Patriots just whopped our ass yesterday lol But until we start stacking talent on this roster using another high draft pick on a QB to drop into this situation is going to result in similar results There isn’t a single QB in college right now that’s coming here next year and turning this circus into a competitive team

As he should We have Bryce on a rookie deal the next two years. This team lacks soooo much talent that until this organization fixes the roster there is literally zero point in drafting another QB. Dan and Dave both need to go before we draft another QB. Dan wanted Bryce. Dave simply isn’t a good coach. He wasn’t even a special coordinator. He was simply Dan’s buddy

Outside of Jameson Williams who are these super pass catchers he had at Bama? His season at Bama is starting to look a bit more impressive as time goes on Metchie, Burton, Brooks, Latu, Bond, Prentice, Bolden are the only guys I can think of. None of them are doing anything now. Finding a true TE1 or WR2 to go along with TMac to finally give Bryce 2 options in a single season needs to be a priority like yesterday

I’m a big fan of Mateer Jordan Tyson would be a solid pick. WR or TE needs to be a priority this offseason

Bryce hasn’t had a deep threat WR in Carolina yet. All 3 seasons now nothing. At Bama he had Jameson and outside of that he really didn’t have much NFL talent WR/TE wise. He had Gibbs his final season but I’m not talking RB’s. Metchie has turned into a dud. Cameron Latu nothing. Jacory Brooks nothing. Jermaine Burton is an absolute head case. Adam Thielen is hardly seeing the ball in Minnesota and this was Young’s WR1 the last 2 years Now Young has TMac and that’s literally it He hasn’t had a single TE worth a damn. Through 3 seasons this organization has failed Young worse than they failed Cam
